### 2/5 — Great idea. But glitchy

*2026-06-07, version 1.18.1*

My 6 yr old loved the demo for it, except for the glitches making her crash despite moving. At $75 Aus it’s a bit much for us unfortunately. When they are likely going to get frustrated and give up because of lag or response. Playing with iPhone green biscuit, iPad and phone.

### 3/5 — Laggy on two devices

*2026-05-18*

Wish it can work on one device like headsuphockey. Two devices can laggy

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for the feedback. Single-device mode is on our roadmap. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to us at support@dangleverse.com and we should be able to troubleshoot your setup and get it running smoothly.

### 3/5 — Good concept - sub par product

*2026-03-31*

I really want to love this game and give it five stars but it just doesn’t deliver. It needs improvement in puck tracking and more diversity in games. Kids got bored with the single game and quickly fed up with the inconsistent tracking. Various games modes with better tracking would make this a hit.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We have more engaging features on the way. Reach out to us at support@dangleverse.com if you'd like to troubleshoot the puck tracking, we should be able to get it working smoothly for you.

### 4/5 — Don’t like

*2026-03-13*

Don’t get it you have to pay

### 3/5 — Very basic- but excited for what it could be

*2026-01-10*

As far as the review sits CURRENTLY- I’d give it 3 stars. But it’s potential (if it comes, gets 4 maybe5 stars) It’s glitchy unless hooked up to Ethernet on my brand new AppleTV -(which was irritating to be a necessity to hook up to a TV). However since purchased I have seen a noticeable improvement with my son’s stick handling and keeping his head up. However the problem sits that the game is VERY simple. It’s a continuous running level of a game. The only thing you can change is difficulty. I know it’s been mentioned several times, and I see that they are working on it- but every video game out there may have an “easy” level- but it’s a multi level course if that makes sense. My son gets tired of playing the game after only 10 minutes or so due to the simplicity. BUT from what I keep seeing, the company is working on updating the game to include multi levels, multi players, and other perks to keep the kids interested and playing- all while it’s included in the original $50 purchase. WhichIMO is awesome! The only thing I’d recommend is after seeing so much on social media and here- you should keep constant contact with your purchased customers and give them a loose timeline on when these things are coming down the line. From your responses the updates coming have been from 2-6 weeks but the responses were from 2-3 months ago. Just an update on what’s going on and when, would do wonders for your customers who may or may not be just ready to archive the app.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your thorough review. We are a small team and working hard. Good things are coming. Re: update notifications, we haven't yet finalized and built our marketing email system, but we will soon. Once we can confidently store and track users' email preferences and opt-out requests we will then start sending out regular updates.

### 2/5 — Mitigée

*2026-01-02*

Pour ce prix, l’application pourrait être en français. Ça graine un peut pour le coup car le prix est élevé

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We understand the importance of localization, and French language support is something we're actively considering. We appreciate you sharing your perspective.

### 4/5 — Good premise, but needs work on in-game app features.

*2025-12-17*

Ideas for future features and other things that would help:
1. Feed OCD engagement and “one more run” mentality”. Show the final score briefly. On an IPAD it’s really hard to see, both because of color and font size. Confetti? Balloons?
2. Include stats, averages, and score history. Daily, weekly, monthly, lifetime, 50 day rolling average score, etc.
3. Leaderboard and ladder race options. High score recording like 1980’s era coin-op games.
4. Different user profiles for father son competition. He’s obviously better than I am, but it’d be nice to see how much I’m closing the gap. Could tie stats to profiles.
5. Make a bigger fuss when a new record score is achieved. Currently just moves to the next run. Think of this as part of #1 above.
6. Points should be awarded for simply surviving - especially in harder modes.
7. Difficulty could also be based on track speed, not just quantity of items. How about a blend of both?
8. Tutorials / videos for technique improvement.
9. Lessons and assignment on skills (skills for toe drags, etc.)
10. More varied game modes ( I know you said they are coming).
11. In game collectibles, seasonal promos to keep you coming back?
12. Customization / appearance for your in game avatar? What about alternate handed stick holding?
13. VR options for this maybe?

Looking forward to what this holds. Hope it’s not just a $50 cash grab.

**Developer response:** This is just the start, only gonna get better from here. Thank you for all this great feedback. We agree 100% with most of it, stay tuned!

### 2/5 — Good concept but needs work

*2025-12-17*

The idea is really solid but it is very hard to get the game set up and working well. Also the need for two devices is a bit hard to accept when I can play remote streamed Xbox games from halfway across the continent without lag, I refuse to believe the lag from locally casting would not be acceptable. I strongly suggest the developer support local casting to an Apple TV or Chromecast. It would make trying out and using this app much simpler.

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for the feedback. We agree, we'd like it to be easier to get playing. We are working on a single device mode, though you'll still have to connect to a monitor TV via wired HDMI. You'd never play those Xbox games by Airplay-ing your game wirelessly to a another device/screen.

### 2/5 — New games not included

*2025-11-12*

Just thought it’s worth making people aware that for $50USD, it will not include any future games - just the current one with a few updates.

“We are currently working on some very exciting new levels/features within Old Man Rush. Probably within the next 1-2 months there will be a significant update with new levels, additional gameplay mechanics, groups/leaderboards, and more. You will get access to all these things with your purchase of Odd Man Rush. We will eventually make completely new games, but those are likely 6-12 months down the road. New games will likely not be included with your current purchase.”

### 4/5 — Works well, sticker shock

*2025-11-09*

It works well; got their recommended stand and already have 4k ATV and 13Pro Max. Also already have HS tiles and Xenopucks/green biscuits. However the $50 out of app purchase for the single/simple game, with 30 minute demo timer was a bit manipulative. In the grand scheme of things $50 for hands practice is reasonable given the cost of the other pieces just named. By the game has no variety so $50 for it seems less reasonable than $50 for a pack of 3 or 4 games. Like a wack-a-mole etc that would build dexterity and muscle memory also.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review and for the feedback. We are currently working on lots of updates for this game, including new gameplay mechanics, deeper levels, online leaderboards, and multiplayer.

### 4/5 — Fifty bucks

*2025-11-06*

This is so cool and was easy to setup and learn. My one complaint is I couldn’t find pricing anywhere and when it finally came time to pay, it was $50 for one game. I paid it because my kid was really enjoying the demo and we had already set it up for him.

**Developer response:** Sorry for the slow response, and thank you for the feedback. We are working on lots of updates for this game, including new gameplay mechanics, deeper levels, online leaderboards, and multiplayer, all of which will be included in the current price of the game. So I do believe it will be worth it!

### 1/5 — Way too light for price

*2025-10-26*

Costs 72$ for only one drill. Says there’s more coming soon. Maybe then it’ll be worth the price.
Idea is amazing though and it’s well done. My suggestion would be to lower the price for now and rely on ads instead for revenues until you build more value in the app.

**Developer response:** Sorry for the slow response and thank you for the feedback. Totally fair that you don't agree with the price point, though a 1 out of 5 seems extreme for a price point you disagree with 😞

### 1/5 — Mac

*2025-10-16, version 1.9*

No app for Mac

### 2/5 — $$$

*2025-10-14*

This can be a great app, the idea behind it is great to get the sticks in kids hands more, but $72! You advertise a free game, but let’s be real a demo does not count as that.
Let’s give our heads a shake here.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. I believe we mention "free to get started", and I can see how that can be a bit misleading. Looks like the free demo did its job and you were able to try before you buy 👍

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-04-17*

Does not connect to work

**Developer response:** Hello, can you reach out to support@dangleverse.com. We should be able to troubleshoot your setup.

### 1/5 — i dont like it

*2026-01-05*

i dont like it because i feel like 2 of the objects should be on show time instead of hard 1 of them is alot of objects the other one its a big jump then alot of objects and those should be switched to showtime

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We are actively working on adding more variety of patterns and updating the tuning of the patterns for each level.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-12-30*

Who to makes a game that is required a iOS 16.6

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2025-12-26*

It’s a very repetitive game which gets boring after 5 minutes. I want my money back as you claimed money back guarantee. How do I get my refund?

**Developer response:** Please reach out to us at support@dangleverse.com if you haven't already.

### 1/5 — Wanted for rink lobby stick practice; couldn’t connect

*2025-11-18*

Saw this on social media and thought it was too good to be true and it was. Bought an hdmi cable to connect to our lobby tv, since we don’t allow stick play in the lobby, tried connected on same WiFi and nothing. Camera lights up green to track puck but nothing shows on tv or iPad. We have an iPhone 13 ProMax with brand new iPads for gameplay. We had an IT personnel look at it and the 30 minute demo expired so we gave up. Would have spent the $50 if it worked but now I need Tylenol from the headache it created.

**Developer response:** Hello, sorry to hear you had so many issues. You can reach out to us at support@dangleverse.com and we might be able to help you get this set up at the rink. Highly likely the WiFi network there doesn't allow inter-device communication, which is the case for many public WiFi setups.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2025-11-15*

Get boring real fast, repetitive, no futur game included, look like the same level over and over again. Feels like a beta not a finished version. Wont worth the price

**Developer response:** Which level were you playing on?

### 1/5 — Good idea bad execution

*2025-11-11*

White practice tiles black puck iPhone 13 for tracking and iPhone 17 for viewing. Laggy tracking that would cut in and out. Ridiculous price for something that barely works.

**Developer response:** Sorry for the slow response and thank you for the feedback. I can understand how frustrating this is for you. Usually in these cases we can troubleshoot your setup and get it working flawlessly. Feel free to reach out to us at support@dangleverse and we can help. (We monitor our email much better than app store reviews, we'll reply w/in a day at the latest.)

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2025-10-31*

It’s a scam, DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY

**Developer response:** Hi, this is definitely not a scam. Please reach out to us at support@dangleverse if you have any specific questions or concerns.

### 1/5 — Too expensive

*2025-10-26*

We played the demo, which was decent. The puck tracking was about 75% accurate. The game is too expensive for only being able to play one game. We may think about purchasing if it goes on sale or if they add different games.

**Developer response:** Sorry for the slow response, and thank you for the feedback.

We are working on lots of updates for this game, including new gameplay mechanics, deeper levels, online leaderboards, and multiplayer, all of which will be included in the current price of the game.

### 1/5 — doesn’t work

*2025-10-26, version 1.9*

great idea i wanted to love this but glad i only did the trial because it glitched and lagged so much we couldn’t play at all

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Seriously fun!

*2026-05-24, version 1.18.1*

We’ve got the whole family around the TV everyone is having a blast! The tech worked straight out of the box, as advertised, up and running in minutes!

### 5/5 — There is a Mac app….

*2026-04-24*

I’ve used this purely on a Mac. Literally don’t listen to whoever is saying there isn’t. Little pricey, but personally I think it’s worth it. It’s pretty great for learning, was initially a little tough as someone who was using this as a brand new player though. (you don’t have to do all of the stuff, I sort of avoided the jumping things)

Wish it worked for Androids, luckily I was able to convince my friend to let me use his iPhone

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! We do now have an Android version.

### 5/5 — Best Video game for hockey families

*2025-12-28*

Bought this for my hockey obsessed tyke level son for Christmas and it’s a huge hit! I think the hairs on my knees are starting to grow back from the reduction of mini stick time this game has caused! We have it hooked up to an Apple TV and an old disconnect iPhone 13, we use a green puck with white tiles and it works mint, little to no lag. The game itself is perfect for all ages of players my son actually has me beat for high score at the moment. Only complaint I have is that you can’t see each player’s high score just the score to beat on each level. Can’t wait to see what’s yet to come from this app for new games and levels!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We recently added profiles, so each of you can track your high scores independently. Hope you've been able to reclaim top score from your son! 😅

### 5/5 — Hockey

*2025-12-28, version 1.13*

Best hockey app

### 5/5 — Amazing for kids and adult

*2025-12-03*

Both my kids and I are having a great time playing this interactive game while also enhancing our hand eye coordination.

### 5/5 — IT IS NOT A SCAM

*2025-11-08*

You just have to use a iPhone 11 and above to make it run smoothly if it still not work rize it to 1m 20cm and above to play it is a fun game just get more games in

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review and for the feedback. We are currently working on lots of updates for this game, including new gameplay mechanics, deeper levels, online leaderboards, and multiplayer.

### 5/5 — Love the idea! Needs a few tweaks

*2025-10-13*

My kids have started playing and they enjoy it but it can be frustrating with the lag sometimes. Jumping up and sliding don’t work that well I find. Do you have any suggestions to help with those issues?

**Developer response:** Sorry for the slow response. For jump you have to move the puck up away from you and for sliding the puck has to move back towards you. In each case, the movement has to be fairly quick and it can't have too much lateral movement. Feel free to reach out to us at support@dangleverse.com and we can chat more.

### 5/5 — AMAZING game helped my son so much!!

*2025-09-23*

So much fun, my 4 year old son went from always stick handling with his head down to now having his head up on the ice within only a couple weeks of playing dangleverse! Puck control has improved so much as well, definitely we’ll worth the download.

### 5/5 — Fun and Educational

*2025-09-14*

Great for anyone looking to better their puck handling skills!

### 5/5 — Dance Dance Revolution meets the ice!

*2025-08-28*

Dangleverse is fun and unique! The game has a simple, retro, and eye-pleasing design with a cool variety of upbeat music to listen to as you play. The tutorial breaks up the game play into concise chunks while adding a little bit of humor along the way. There are multiple levels of play from rookies to all star players, making it suitable for all ages. It’s the Dance Dance Revolution of hockey! I can see Dangleverse serving as a go-to at parties and play dates. You can even play on the go using fingers instead of hockey equipment, opening a variety of ways to enjoy the game. I highly recommend Dangleverse!
