Köstlich am Tag, lecker am Abend so ist das Gartenlokal Dank Augusta mitten im Botanischen Garten: Unter freiem Himmel in den Feierabend chillen, mit Freunden Geburtstag feiern oder einfach in den gemütlichen Loungemöbeln beim Bierchen den Tag ausklingen lassen. Das Gartenlokal in der Flora ist der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen.
Dabei hat Dank Augusta auch kulinarisch viel zu bieten: 
Vom „Gartensalat Flora“ im Glas, über die hausgemachte Frikadelle vom Kalb bis hin zum kultigen American Cheesecake (natürlich im Glas) – an der Picknick-Bar ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Wein-Liebhaber werden auf der Weinkarte des Flora Sommeliers fündig. Eine schöne Auswahl an Craftbieren und alkoholfreie Trendgetränke runden das Angebot ab.
Mit Freude sorgt das Dank Augusta- Team dafür, dass die Gäste sich wohlfühlen… z.B. gibt’s Hüte für die Sonne und Decken wenns mal frisch wird. Kurz: Dank Augusta hat das Zeug zum Lieblingsort! 
Öffnungszeiten bei schönem Wetter jeden Tag von 11.30 Uhr bis 22h. Im Oktober bis 18Uhr. 
Dank Augusta ist barrierefrei. 
Sind die Tore des Botanischen Gartens am Abend geschlossen erfolgt der Zugang zum Gartenlokal über den Parkplatz Am Botanischen Garten 1a, 50735 Köln (Riehl).
Die Geschichte hinter dem Namen Dank Augusta:
Augusta, Gemahlin des preußischen Kaisers Wilhelm I., übernahm 1863 die Schirmherrschaft über Bau und Erhalt des Botanischen Garten Kölns. Eines lag der selbstbewussten, liberal gesinnten Kaiserin und Königin damals ganz besonders am Herzen: Die Flora sollte für alle Bürger, egal welcher Herkunft, offen sein. 
Was heute so selbstverständlich klingt, war für die damalige Zeit ein mutiger, entschlossener Ausdruck von Freiheit und Demokratie.
Das mögen wir und hat uns zum Namen inspiriert: Dank Augusta sind wir hier. Nicht weit entfernt in der Flora befindet sich eine Büste von Augusta. Manche sagen seit einiger Zeit umspiele ein kleines Lächeln ihren Mund. Wir glauben, ihr hätte es gefallen.
