## What is DanPraTube?

**Built by a dancer, for dancers.**

DanPraTube (Dance Practice Tube) is a video player designed specifically for dance practice, featuring only the tools dancers truly need.

Learn choreography.
Study every movement in detail.
Practice until you can dance just like your favorite performers.

DanPraTube was created to be the app dancers have always wanted.

**Main Features**

• Use AI-powered Spotlight to automatically adjust the video position and follow the dancer you want to study
• See dancers detected by AI in group videos and tap to select the person you want to follow
• Combine class-day and favorites filters to quickly find the videos you want to practice
• Resume your practice by restoring the last video and playback range you used
• Pinch to zoom in on choreography details
• Swipe left or right to move between the previous and next videos
• Share the video you're watching via AirDrop and other iOS sharing options
• Slow-motion playback for detailed movement analysis
• Video previews while adjusting playback position and range
• Loop playback for practicing selected sections repeatedly
• Mirror mode to match your instructor's direction
• Organize and select videos by class day
• Lock screen orientation to stay focused on practice
• AirPlay support for TVs and external displays
• Control playback remotely with Apple Watch

• Smart Stack support for quick access to Apple Watch controls

**Follow the Movement You Want with Spotlight**

In lesson videos where an instructor and several dancers appear together, the person you want to study may move across the frame and become difficult to follow when the video is zoomed in.

With AI-powered Spotlight, select a dancer and the video automatically adjusts its position to follow their movement, helping you focus on choreography, posture, footwork, and arm movement.

Pause the video to see people detected by AI in selection frames, then tap the dancer you want to follow.

Spotlight may lose track depending on video resolution, clothing, when dancers cross paths, or when the selected dancer is obscured by someone else. If this happens, simply select the dancer again to resume Spotlight and continue practicing.

**Designed by a Dancer**

I'm a dancer myself.

While reviewing lesson videos over and over, I often wished I could:

"Repeat just this part."
"Watch it a little slower."
"Follow my instructor's movement more easily."
"Control playback without walking back to my phone."

DanPraTube was born from solving these everyday frustrations that dancers experience.

Rather than adding unnecessary features, every function is designed to help you stay focused and practice without interruption.

**No Ads. No Subscription.**

Practice deserves your full attention.

That's why DanPraTube contains no ads and is available as a one-time purchase instead of a monthly subscription.

A distraction-free practice environment is one of the most important features this app offers.

**Perfect For**

• Dancers who want to follow an instructor or a specific dancer in group videos
• Dancers who want more efficient practice sessions
• Dancers who want to zoom in and study subtle posture and movement details
• Anyone who learns choreography using videos
• Dancers who need slow-motion playback to master routines
• Studio users who want to control playback from a distance with Apple Watch while connected to an external display
• Anyone looking for a simple yet powerful video player

**Coming Soon**

• Even better Apple Watch integration
• Side-by-side video comparison

DanPraTube will continue to evolve to make dance practice easier, more enjoyable, and more effective.

As both a dancer and an independent developer, I'll continue listening to your feedback and growing DanPraTube together with dancers around the world.

If there is a feature you'd like to see or something you think could work better, please leave a comment.

Even in group videos, you can stay focused on your instructor or another dancer's choreography, posture, and body movement.
• When you pause the video and use Spotlight, people detected by AI appear in selection frames. Simply tap the dancer you want to follow, and playback starts automatically.
• You can choose whether to pause when Spotlight loses sight of the dancer, then select the dancer again and continue practicing.
• Added settings for vertical Spotlight tracking and Spotlight marker visibility.
• Added a favorites filter to the recording-day video browser. Combine a class day with favorites from the Photos app to quickly find the videos you want to practice.
• Also includes improved person selection and tracking, video display stability, and Spotlight usability.

• If you selected the video by recording day, the previous day filter is also restored, preserving the group of videos available when moving to the previous or next video.
