I was expecting to find some recognizable landmarks, but so far not yet. Some of the tasks are ridiculously easy, and some of the puzzles are ridiculously difficult. Lots of mixed puzzles of varying difficulty and not too many HOS (alternative available). Good map, collectibles and morphs. Deducted one star as the written English grammar was pretty atrocious at times and some of the HOS were too dark for me but otherwise good value at £2.99 on sale.😊 ### 4/5 — No stupid ghosts and ghouls! *2018-03-04, version 1.0.0* How refreshing, a Big Fish game with a horror-free storyline, love it! Great music and graphics, I really feel like I'm in a murder mystery movie in places. Only deducted one star because some of the puzzle instructions are terrible. Developer tip: ask somebody who doesn't know, if they understand your instructions! Maybe it was to TOO long. 😉 While I can't recall all the specifics from memory alone, (I'll end up playing again at some point and posting), I 💞LOVED it. 🤗The graphics were absolutely stellar and realistic, I especially liked the use of stone and lighting in the opening video...stunning really. I take my time on games I truly love -and I know I did with this one. 🌉🙋🏼 San Fran Fan ### 4/5 — Very gorgeous artwork *2017-12-09, version 1.0.0* It's a nice game instructions for the puzzles are often incomprehensible to me. ### 3/5 — I've Just "Waltzed" Off the "Dance" Floor *2017-12-02, version 1.0.0* It's a pity that only one game per week is being released, resulting in denying players an opportunity to choose between two games in case one of them is unsatisfying. This game is one such example of an underwhelming production within a worn-out series that has lost its focus since the original game. I wont outline every aspect like I usually do since Lynx Minx already thoroughly did so. The storyline is recycled and banal, and the characters are dull and uninspiring. The HOSs leave little to the imagination, as they are devoid of any progressive concepts that are present in some of this developer's other series. They consist of the run-of-the-mill types of which we have grown accustomed to. The puzzles are mostly very simple since they can be solved in one or two steps; a few were interesting, though, such as the one in which you move a certain amount of elements between tubes to prepare the antidote. I also have some quibbles over a few things: I am finding that in recent games from this developer, the inventory usage is finicky. It frequently takes me several tries to place items before my touch interaction is accepted. Furthermore, I don't like finding morphing objects in the HOSs because it disrupts my concentration of finding the regular items in the scene, thereby causing me to forget about discovering them anyway. Moreover, this game is already short; but the developer dragged out the playtime with the constant back and forth between scenes to complete each individual task. I am begrudgingly trudging through this lackluster game without a care in the world about what happens to the characters and what I should do next. I'm sure glad that these new releases are still offered at the discounted price, thus obviating the need of involuntarily becoming a member of BFG just to take advantage of the lower prices. I was debating between rating this game 2 or 3 stars; however, since I did not experience any major flaws, my true rating of 2.5 stars is elevated to a final 3 stars. ### 4/5 — Very good *2017-11-25, version 1.0.0* My only real complaint was that the storyline was a little unclear. ### 1/5 — Glitch - don’t buy *2017-11-25, version 1.0.0* There is a glitch that keeps you from combining a couple items. Highly recommend you check it out! Onto my review of this game: Good game so far, and I have not experienced any glitches. Love the mystery style of the storyline, hidden object scenes, puzzles, teleporting map. Character voice overs are good, as well as the graphics & mechanics of this game. I will update further, as I progress. Still hoping, Big Fish is reading our reviews & are going to give us more than 1 New Release a week. I have contacted them and I encourage everyone who would like to see more games to do so. I was told by him that he would pass this request of mine for more New Releases (like we used to have) along. Kevin, indicated that they had received quite a few requests and that they were taking it into consideration. I really encourage everyone who would like to see more than 1 new release a week to contact Big Fish and express this. Kevin, did say that they do look at reviews, however, contacting them was best in order to get changes made. They want us Happy & he totally understood as he is a gamer himself. I am sorry Lynx that you got a hold of a rude person - but I would try again, because in all likelihood, you won't get that same person again. Very well done on hidden object scenes which were interactive, fun puzzles with some challenge to them. I also really appreciate the detail that the developers put into this game!
