### 1/5 — No

*2025-07-29*

It won’t let me review if I give it one star.
There isn’t even any info on how to upgrade to full app. I have been playing darbukas, riqq and tar for 15 yrs. Weekly belly dance classes and performances.
5 original arrangements of classical rhythms which have been choreographed and performed. No, the app is not intuitive. What was I looking for?
An app where I could develop variations for the rhythms. Develop solos for the rhythms. To practice with. To share with others, newer player to help them develop their skills and knowledge of the rhythms.
The rhythms I listened to were not the standard typical versions of the rhythms.
Deleted already.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Our sincere apologies for this! Unfortunately our app is a Darbuka loop player and it does not have the ability to create loops. That being said you do have the ability to import loops. Thank you!

### 3/5 — Loops…

*2025-07-23*

They’re pretty nice, and this is easy enough to use if you want to play through the internal sets of loops as part of your performance.

I would really like a performance interface for capturing individual drum hits (a virtual drum kit) and an internal sequence recorder to capture a performance loop… and a way to use an external midi sequencer if you want to use other midi loops. Could be cool!!!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and kind words about Darbuka Beats! We're really glad to hear that you find it easy to use and a helpful part of your performances. You can actually sync it to MIDI and AUv3 already!

### 3/5 — Great start but could be better

*2025-06-07*

Thank you for making this app. I’ve been waiting for such an app for a long time. All good Arabic beats drum machines only come on keyboards. Great collection of beats but it could get even better. Here some opportunities for improvement coming from a middle eastern percussionist:
-Add the ability to mute instruments as needed. For example I like to play some beats without the darbuka so that I can play my darbuka live with them, or without the Riq etc…
-Replace current darbuka and riq sounds with higher quality and more professional sounds from the Middle East

Thank you

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful and encouraging review! We're truly honored to hear that the app is filling a long-awaited need, especially from a fellow Middle Eastern percussionist.

Thanks again for your support and valuable feedback—it helps us make the app even better for passionate musicians like you!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

### 5/5 — Love it

Now I can make my own music thank you for this app

**Developer response:** Thanks so much! 🎶 We’re thrilled you’re enjoying the app and making your own music — keep creating and having fun!
