An easy app to navigate. Well laid out. Adds small daily challenges to help you manage risk and rejection enhancing self confidence! Take a cold shower? Get a stranger to rate your outfit? Borrow a cup of sugar? Easy to record your thoughts and feelings and wether you were rejected or not in your efforts. You can even upload a photo to document your achievements, or lack their of! ### 5/5 — Just what the doctor ordered

*2018-12-27, version 1.0*

Been waiting for an app like this I learned about rejection therapy. A great interactive way to to improve your self confidence and get over your fear of social awkwardness.

### 5/5 — Great way to practice courage daily!

*2018-12-26, version 1.0*

This is a clever app that is perfect for those inspired by Jia Jiang’s book, Rejection Proof. You can do little dares each day to help you learn to face and conquer the very natural fear of rejection all humans share.

### 5/5 — This app could change your life

*2018-12-26, version 1.0*

After hearing Jia Jiang talk and reading his book, I was so excited to learn about this app to help me put the rejection proof theory into practice.
It s a very sleek app, easy to use and more importantly it is probably the only app that can truly help you overcome your fear of rejection. Take on the Rejection Proof journey, you won’t regret it.

### 5/5 — great potential

*2018-12-26, version 1.0*

amazing potential !!! i feel like i need to be more motivated though. There should be a WHY and more personality to it to hold people accountable.

### 5/5 — Can an app be life changing?

*2018-12-25*

I heard Jia Jiang, the creator of the Dare Me app, speak at an event and I read his Rejection-Proof book. It’s amazing how Jia experimented with rejection / day-to-day assumptions and the results that he experienced. I was inspired to try some of my own rejection-proof experiments, including testing out this app. What I have found is that, yes, an app can be life changing. If you are looking for some new inspiration in your life, this is worth a try. If you are looking to have new experiences, take more risks, or experience new results, this could be your ticket. Enjoy!

### 5/5 — New challenges on the horizon

*2018-12-25*

After watching Jia’s tedtalk I was inspired by the fact that he had so many creative ways to push his boundaries and attack discomfort head on. The unorthodox approach of getting rejected is refreshing as it provides you with a new way to overcome fear in creative ways.

You get a few options of things to do daily, and as you complete a set of 3 a new set appear. You can go at your own pace so you can slowly build the confidence in a comfortable manner.

A great app for people looking to build confidence, overcome rejection, and to challenge yourself.

### 5/5 — I used to carry the cards...

*2018-12-25, version 1.0*

...and now I don’t have to! This is courage-on-the-go. I include my children in the challenges. They’re 13, 9, and 5. Doing the “Flintstones” theme song challenge in the grocery store with my 9yo led to us getting a free cat! I’ll continue using the app with my family to support them with daring greatly. Best regards! -Jessy

### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing!

*2018-12-25*

This app is incredible. If you're ever been in a situation where you've felt afraid if getting rejected, hesitant, or unconfident, you're not alone. This app won't magically transform you into someone with incredible confidence and self-assuradness like Dwayne Johnson, but it will help you build on whatever confidence you do (or don't) have.

It starts you off with simple dares and challenges like "Ask to play Rock, Paper, Scissors with a stranger" and eventually builds to more challenging dares.

The purpose of this app isn't to make you feel stupid or to put you in uncomfortable situations, but instead to push you out of your comfort zone.

Personally, I've discovered that people are willing to do more things than I previously thought they would be willing to do.

I've been surprised at what people have been willing to do, simply because I asked them to.

I'd recommend this app to anyone who wants to build their confidence, become more resilient to rejection, or push themselves to become a better person.

I can't wait to see where Jai and his team will take app, and I'm excited to be a part of the journey.

### 5/5 — Simple and intuitive

*2018-12-25, version 1.0*

Jia has made a fun and easy way to build confidence and confront rejection. The challenges are fun but will test you.

### 5/5 — An amazing tool for smashing fear and self doubt

*2018-12-25*

I was super inspired after watching Jia JIANG’s TED talk - my 100 days of rejection and I wanted to give rejection-therapy a try.

DareMe is the perfect app. Every day, you have the option of taking on one or all three of the challenges - from as asking a stranger to play rock paper scissors, to asking if you can cut in line, to saying you care to someone you love, etc. It's outrageous, fun, and absolutely amazing.

Now when I leave the house, I never run out of ideas of what to do. I know that over time, I'll become more confident, attractive man. Thanks you Jia Jiang and your team! Merry Christmas!

### 5/5 — A practical manual to win over your fears

*2018-12-23*

I have seen Jia’s Ted video about 100 days of rejection and it made me suddenly to look over my past and planted a seed inside me.
Then I read the book and it really changed a mindset.
This app is a standalone manual to win over your fears of rejection. You begin with easy daily tasks and then grow. The ability to upload pictures and notes is a great addition to come back later and remember context.

### 5/5 — Creative and versatile way to push your boundaries

*2018-12-22*

First off, you do not have to read or even be familiar with the source material. Rejection Proof is a fantastic book but this app could easily stand alone. Very well done.
I like the flexibility of choosing your level of difficulty and that it offers multiple opportunities to succeed. The journal functionality is also a huge plus to record real time emotions/ thoughts for later.
Make it a game as it is already set up like a game. Get some friends to join in and get together at some special interval and share your experiences and reactions. My group shares weekly and not only is it fun we started to share more about our vulnerability and it made us lean on each other more and strengthen the Wolfpack! LoL
So Five Stars and a huge thanks for taking the ideas of the book and making them easy to access and achieve.

### 5/5 — Great App for Self-Growth

*2018-12-22, version 1.0*

The app interface is extremely easy to use and simple to follow along with. There are a wide variety of challenges, so the app doesn’t get old. Also, there is are different levels of difficulty to the challenges which is a nice addition. Would recommend to friends!

### 1/5 — They stole my money

*2019-11-03*

I was excited about this. I joined the productivity dare to get up at 5am every day for a week and committed the $20. Then I was just looking at the Selfie with a Stranger dare to see how much that one was. I clicked Join thinking it would then tell me if there was a commitment. Apparently not as I was now signed for this one too.

But now my original dare was nowhere to be found. The selfie one showed up twice on my app. There was no way for me to access the dare and share my proof. I contacted them right away and explained- both thru the app and their website. BEFORE my first day of the dare. Heard nothing back but they took my $20.

Very upset with the app developers for ignoring my communications and stealing my money.

### 2/5 — What happened to the old format?

*2021-06-03*

I remember using this app perhaps a year or two ago, and it was basically a long list of dares to help build your confidence. You could build streaks and buy a few expansion packs (like dares to get you out of your comfort zone romantically or professionally). I was looking forward to simple challenges to boost my confidence by trying new things. Now, DareMe is about competition to do a specific thing, mostly professional or COVID-based activities, for a week at a time. It’s like a social media platform now. Why did this change? Is the old version still floating around somewhere in the App Store?

### 3/5 — App crashes

*2020-02-17, version 2.3*

I think this app will help, but it crashes when you try to share your dare. Plz try to fix it, and update it. I’m using an iPhone SE running iOS 13.3.1

### 3/5 — Good but not flexible

*2018-12-21, version 1.0*

I am a 16 year old and many of these challenges I am unable to perform for one or more reasons. My personal belief on the subject is that there should be a system of age based dares so that those that are younger can have challenges that are made more towards themselves. Other than that, this app is amazing.

### 3/5 — Solid Premise

*2018-12-21, version 1.0*

For the beginning of the app’s development, it’s got a good base. It’s easy and straightforward to use. The challenges provide a reasonable range of options to choose from. However, the ‘journey’ is shown as very linear while the choices to make on the journey seem incredibly random. It’s fun to log in each day and see what Dares are available, though.

### 4/5 — Really enjoying the app

*2019-01-03*

I became a big fan of Jia when he started posting his 100 days of rejection videos years ago. And his Ted Talk is one of my favorites. So I was exited about the launch of the DareMe app and happy to help. It’s been a crazy few weeks and along with the Christmas and New Years holidays I haven’t had that much time to really dig into the app but it has been a great pick me up each day to look and see what challenges lie ahead. I have really enjoyed trying them and can see some improvements in myself My one complaint would be that a lot of the challenges rely on other people and I was off from work and spent a lot of time home alone or just with family members reducing my opportunities. Hopefully going forward I will have more time to interact with the public. Best of luck and I will review again once I can really dig in and try more of the challenges

### 4/5 — Life happens outside your comfort zone

*2018-12-26, version 1.0*

Like many people, I have a terrible fear of rejection. My counselor introduced me to Rejection Therapy during one of our sessions. I watched Jia’s talks, read his book, and used the cards. I was excited when I heard this app was being launched
so I could continue my work with Rejection Therapy.

I am looking forward to the upcoming year and making this app a daily habit. I would suggest finding a friend to use this app along with you. Accountability is key in overcoming my fear of rejection. Just because I have a fear of rejection doesn’t mean I’m not competitive.

Thank you Jia for this app and helping me to live outside my comfort zone.

### 4/5 — Missing something

*2018-12-21*

As much as it is easy to use and great concept that it’s based off of simple tasks. I feel as if it is really easy to dismiss, or forget about. There needs to be a factor that takes the person to be accountable to take action. Especially being somebody who is extremely busy majority of the time and always in their head, people will tend to forget these tasks and mind you some may even not have enough social interaction due to certain living conditions.

I really like the idea of the app!

### 4/5 — Great start

*2018-12-18, version 1.0*

I like the concept of the app and the challenges so far. I do think it would be more fun to be able to have ‘friends’ or buddies to play with.

### 5/5 — Truly enjoying the challenge

*2020-04-28*

I downloaded the app after hearing Jia speak at an Intero Real Estate event and reading Jia’s book. Initially I didn’t participate in the challenges set forth by the app. Now, however I’m in the beginning weeks of a 30 day challenge set by Intero and am committed to completing every day. The app is well designed and easy to use. Good work design / implementation crew!! Looking forward to continuing on and trying out some of the regular challenges once we’re out of this Shelter in place ordinance. Thank you Jia for creating this opportunity!

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best new productivity app out there

*2019-11-26, version 2.0.5*

If you want to acquire some new good habits, try this app.
Since joining I wake up at 5am, write my goals the night before, read 30 minutes a day (and write a brief summary) and leave the cell phone out of bedroom overnight. All of these are DareMe challenges that I accomplished.

### 5/5 — Great app, fun challenges with a real life social component

*2019-11-12*

I use it for and have joined its various 7-day productivity challenges. If you use it based on the honor system, it will help you to form your own productive habits and flex your self-discipline muscles.
The challenges are fun and the 7-day duration of each is just perfect.

And it also helps you build your character. And as long as you do the challenges with integrity, they are effective for what they’re intended to do; otherwise, you’d only be cheating yourself out of each opportunity to stretch and grow.

### 5/5 — Great idea for an app!

*2019-03-17, version 1.1.3*

I LOVE this app! What a great way to get out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and get out of my own way! I’m having so much fun with this!

### 5/5 — Makes Taking Risks Fun!

*2019-02-20*

My favorite part about this app - whether it be the initial version, the romance version, or the entrepreneur version - is that it makes doing bold things fun! I’ve had big clarity with some challenges at work, and have had some really special moments with loved ones. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — Get ready to be uncomfortable

*2019-02-17*

I started my own challenge to conquer my fears and at first i did my own idea but i only had so much that i need to grab ideas from somewhere else. I found this app and it was exactly what i needed. Giving me choices everyday to choose and pressures me to do them because some days i don’t see many people so the moment i do i am forced to do the dare. It has made me friends and feel good about myself and recommend it to anyone who wishes to improve on themselces.

### 5/5 — Positive Impact!

*2019-01-09, version 1.0*

Been using the app for a few weeks now. There are a few additional features I'd like, but overall, it does what I want it to. Helps build my courage muscle!

### 5/5 — Helps with confidence

*2019-01-07, version 1.0.1*

This app is really helps you realize there’s nothing to be scared of when it comes to rejection. It’s helped me grow more confident and outgoing! I love it!

### 5/5 — Fearsome but fun

*2019-01-03, version 1.0*

Jia drives a tough bargain. However, he is only asking you to go where he has gone before and desires for you the positive changes he has seen in himself. Once you get to, "So what" when you are rejected, you have hit mastery status. Thank you Jia!

### 5/5 — Congrats

*2019-01-02, version 1.0.1*

Nice to see that you finally released the app Jia Jiang!
Wish you and your dev team a good luck with it!
