The game is too easy and prompted that I blew through it quick. All the other dark city games were free to play and only had to pay $2 for the bonus chapter so I recommend saving your money for those. ### 3/5 — Needs fine tuning *2023-01-02, version 1.0.2* 1st mini game was frustrating with the buttons being so finicky. Trying to complete the airship going around the map at the end if the game was impossible. Tried to get the airship to move and it wouldn’t. This wasn’t the first time that I found the mini games not working and sadly had to hit the skip button. Will be interesting to see how the bonus game pans out. UPDATE - thank you for your response but there is no way I am going to replay the game just to give screenshots. Best way is ensure that the game can be played on a variety of devices before releasing. ### 4/5 — Great company. Not their best effort. *2022-08-13, version 1.0.1* I’ve purchased all of their games. Why? They are relaxing, fun and not overly complicated with so much running around. Visually they do a good job with the art. This particular title was boring and the story not interesting at all. It wasn’t well scripted as well. Also, the game was short. A rather disappointing effort, but it’s still something to play that won’t drive you nuts from too much running around and having to use hints. Thanks for the new release. Still 5 against any other developer. They are the best bar-none developers of HOAG💕. No other developer has had such unique, immersive gameplay, & rich storytelling(everything else also on point) I love games with a “gimmick”(interactive objects/aspects)that make me feel hyped about playing it. My favs are Bridge to Another World & Living Legend series but all by 🦊 are great. Why not 5 ⭐️s? Again I will always support this developer but I just feel this year (‘22) they’ve seemed over before I knew it & ended without me feeling they were deserving of way MORE than just 5 stars? The bonus chapter was always like getting 2 games in one but now I’d rather you put more into original gameplay & include no bonus chapter. I never was a big XMas person but they made me LOVE what they did with the Nutcracker(which I had always refused to read/watch/hear lol) the end of last year. It’s literally just this last year(not including remasters of course). I’m waiting until you guys have 2 games out to start playing for that reason(still haven’t played Voice). Maybe you guys set the bar too high? AGAIN please keep ‘em coming. Will always support/buy. Just constructive criticism. I totally appreciate the work you guys put into these games. In most games like this, you complete a full quest before they ask you to pay half the price of this to complete a larger bonus level. Problems with picking things up or with placing them, hardly got into this game before I encountered the problem now I can’t get any further. The others had lots of activities and puzzles to solve whereas this one had more dialogue but hardly any puzzles to do. When it did have a puzzle/ action area, they were much shorter in length too. Not worth it in my opinion. ### 2/5 — It’s ok *2022-12-01, version 1.0.2* But it makes me miss the old school type hidden object games, where you have to find the objects listed in a gorgeous scene vs the dark blobs that the developers think should make it clear what you’re supposed to find. It is not. Maybe you have to know something about how people treated Tesla to get it. While in reality, Tesla's World's Fair triumph was in Chicago, when his AC beat patent troll Edison to be standard electric current, he did attend the one in Paris, too. Amazing plot with a twist, fun puzzles and a thrilling bonus chapter. I like finding morphing objects and additional items within the gameplay and the ability to skip the trickier games. It would be good to have some loyalty bonuses too like the occasional game sale.
