Dressing the three bears in large puzzle pieces...after easily finding them behind Blues Clues furniture?? Are you serious?? (Play any of the Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst series to see the basics of an interactive game: challenging, interesting and FUN.) The overall game was way to simple and boring. ### 2/5 — Graphics *2019-05-03, version 1.0.0* The graphics are dark and cannot find objects. It could have been clearer. So much work went into this game but the results were poor. ### 2/5 — It was great until it broke! *2017-04-16, version 1.0.0* I was really liking this game until partway through the bonus chapter. I placed the "crystal star" which resulted in a projected display in the grotto area, followed by the game crashing. Upon restarting the game, the crystal star was back in my inventory, but the spot to put it was gone and replaced by the projected display. I cannot do anything with the star, and the display doesn't do anything. Hints give me nothing at all I can do. The whole game it jammed and cannot be completed! Very disappointed! ### 2/5 — Beautiful graphics *2017-01-29, version 1.0.0* Horrible game. The HO scenes are the "find the pieces" type, which I don't like at all. Trying to figure out where to go and when is beyond entertaining. It's annoying. The puzzles are okay. The map allows teleporting. I completed the free trial, just to see if it got better. It didn't. Even using your inventory items was a hit or miss. No logic. I wouldn't waste my money on this one. Too bad, too, because the graphics are lovely. ### 3/5 — Dark Parables:Goldilocks and the fallen star *2020-11-01, version 1.0.0* Beautiful hidden object scenes as in all the dark parable games, however I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others. I found the puzzle games very difficult to manipulate on my iPad and ended up just skipping them in the end through frustration, I also had to use the hint an awful lot, perhaps it was just me losing interest. What’s happened to Jack? He was a nice character in the last game I played ( sky kingdom I think), couldn’t really follow the story.... have yet to play the extras, is it worth it ? The gameplay didn’t feel as smooth as the other ones, the story lacked the excitement and connection that the others had. I felt like I was playing a different game. Not the dark parable franchise I had grown to love. Plus, the story left even more to be desired. It didn’t make sense. The other games in the franchise, always had a connection, a root to the actually fairytale it’s based on. However, this one didn’t even make sense. It has no relation whatsoever to goldilocks. I and I’ll bet some other folk have trouble with reading comprehension. One task can be explained many different ways depending on many factors such as culture and intellect level thanks again I’m king to look for your other games in this genre’. It was so very enjoyable. The graphics were a feast for the eyes and I usually skip the cut scenes but not here. Watched then all they were so captivating. Has beautiful graphics and some amazing cut scenes. Some games are too hard and some hops are too easy but that’s okay. You can skip the hard ones. Not sure about the connection with Goldilocks and the three bears -has lots of bear elements if that was it combined with some sort of Midas touch.
