I play demeo on my quest 2 and love these types of games. I do wish we could play with others by matchmaking or by inviting friends. I played it a bit every day for 3-4 days and it was pretty easy to beat it on normal mode. I ran a dwarf with chain mail , the knight and the dark monk. Was a very capable group. The dark monk is very powerful. The original game was so much fun and so unique and this is a pile of trash coasting off a name. The developers should feel ashamed for creating such a pile of garbage. Tl:dr PLAY THE ORIGINAL AVOID THIS CRAP GAME! ### 1/5 — Too many bugs *2020-04-12* Got to the next to the last level, only to keep getting stuck due to game being non responsive. Tried 10 times to finish the level, halfway through I would lose the ability to move characters/attack, etc. It is obvious they did not do a great deal of testing pre-release. Had I been able to complete the game, I would have given it 3 stars. Due to the price tag of $3.99 for an incomplete game, however I’d give it -1 stars if that were an option. It was the whole game! ### 2/5 — Great, but many bugs *2019-06-11* [ok, to get around some of the locking bugs, let animations finish when using skills. When you have used a skill, do not click on the character again for a second or so. When looking to see what a skill does (long press), give it a second before you select it] So many bugs. I want to love this, but when half the dungeons I am in end up freezing and locking for different reasons, all I can say is definitely get it, but only IF they fix it. This is a fire star game, made a two star game, and a pile of frustration through the bugs. There is a skill use bug, which can stop you moving the map, and make any tap of the character bring up their window, which will never go away. Close app. Take control of the werwolf, Move to the previous room, and a character is trapped on the steps and will not move. Close app. Take control of a character, end your turn Without moving that character, and game gets stuck. The controls can be a little frustrating at first, but other than that, this is an amazing recreation of the Hero Quest board game with lots of additional skills/spells for characters. No stupid in-app purchases! Wysiwyg, and I love this. I regret that this game is short though overall as I now want to dungeon crawl further, but it is nice to have automatic difficulty increase when you revisit a dungeon level. To the creator: great job! If you were to create another one with more new characters, etc, you’ve got my money and support. ### 5/5 — A True Classic *2021-05-16* The developers created something wonderful here. I love how they captured the mechanics of the old Hero Quest board game, but added more characters, equipment, and skills. Being able to continually increase your character abilities deepens the combat and strategy. I’ve played through twice and maxed my characters, but still I’ll probably go back and play again.
