Is there any reason to why these games are missing because I missed playing boss raids and even the offline modes. Almost great. *2021-03-29, version 1.0.0* I play with controller. Overall I like the game. Cons: Runs feel unnecessarily short and punishing. Too much time spent after death getting back into a game run. So learning game mechanics can feel slow and punishing. The endurance bar being tied to dash and jump, does force the player to use attacks and block more often, but is severely limiting while exploring the map outside of battle. The character is soo slow. Adding a sprint button a la naruto run would be everything. Make maps more horizontal. Enemies attacking from above and below your character, especially after traveling up a long narrow corridor, makes close combat feel unfair and claustrophobic, since your character’s attacks are more effective from left to right. There should be more open areas with horizontal space, especially considering the limited targeting options. The other option of kiting enemies into an open space adds to the negative feels of slow-clunky. Does block and dash interrupt the character’s own attack animations? Sometimes this seems the case, and I can respond to an enemy’s attack with a perfectly timed block. But more often than not I’m pressing block and getting hit anyway. I guess grinding some frustrating runs and upgrading the character will help with timing defensive mechanics. I like that button mashing isn’t the way, but finding the right timing has felt confusing and frustrating. Spotify audio doesn’t work while running this game. Pros: the esthetic, art style, animations, are really good. It’s what’s keeping me coming back for more. ### 5/5 — Nice game but where’s my purchase items *2021-01-16, version 1.0.0* Downloaded this game and bought the 3 character pack and unlock all levels but cannot use the mage and barbarian, please fix this ### 5/5 — Great Game *2020-12-12, version 1.0.0* Great Roguelite action game with inter-run progression and boss fights. If looking for another action roguelite on iOS, then this is a very good game. The inter-run progression allows you to bridge that difficulty gap for the next levels. It’s a really great game to pick up and play a run or play for however long you wish in any session. Side note: To the kid (dennino...) that 1-star review bombed this game for being too difficult.....seriously!? ### 5/5 — Great Game! *2020-12-03, version 1.0.0* I recently got this game and it is so much fun. How do you change characters though? I just paid for the other two and the full game but am unable to change from the default blonde guy despite restarting the game and losing all my progress. I nevered even finished the first level because, every skeleton is attacking at once and I try to block them but it’s still kills me. Have been waiting on it for over a month. The release date kept getting pushed back. Thought it was going to get cancelled. Then it comes out on 4/5/20. Was eager to play it. Any pleasure to be had from downloading it was short lived. This doesn’t feel like a finished product. It almost feels like a proof of concept. The graphics and some of the attack animations are nice. However, the combat has no balance. Button mashing is the only technique that works. The translations are incorrect. You have to press AND hold the ! to destroy the altar, not keep pressing ! as instructed. Half the time the game gets stuck on the first boss. There are no additional techniques to learn. No items or equipment to buy. There doesn’t even appear to be a pause button. This feels very pre-alpha. Then there’s the fact this has apparently been removed from the App Store. If you type in Dark Raider, this doesn’t come up at all. If you go to Triniti’s App Store page, Dark Raider’s no longer listed. I think the dev or Triniti Interactive realized Dark Raider is not ready for release. To those of us who managed to snag this, during the brief window it was offered, mazel toz. To those who worked on this title, get your crap together! However, at the moment it’s extremely hard and a grind fest. Technically I wouldn’t mind this if it were a free to play game, however you have a purchase the full game. Not to mention the IAPs have little to no description. I purchased the full game and warrior set however nothing on my warrior changed. Ps I forgot to mention they have a diamond currency for relics. For a chance to roll a relic it cost 10 diamonds for 1 roll. After beating the first boss I got 2 diamonds. At this rate you will beat the game before you have enough diamonds to roll for relics. In the game’s current state it will get deleted from my device within the first week. ### 2/5 — Has potential, but buggy. *2020-04-05, version 0.9.0* Game combat has potential. However I couldn’t make it past the first level because the “destroy altar” command wouldn’t trigger. I’d press the button and nothing happens. Also, the writing is not well translated, so just be aware of that going in.
