I really loved the character design. However almost a dozen times the screen would suddenly become all black with a tiny bit of the image in the top left corner. Sadly, it usually happened during cutscenes. (Fortunately after I beat the game I could go back and see what I missed). I was only able to restore full screen by going back to the main menu and sometimes by tapping the map and going to a different location. ### 3/5 — Glitch *2020-09-13, version 1.0.2* Every time I finish an HOP, the game on my iPad goes from full screen to 1/4 of the screen and I have to completely close down game and reopen. ### 3/5 — Waiting *2020-03-11, version 1.0* So much for a new game on the 10th . This game was good. Had a few issues with the way the game was set up but was fixed. ### 4/5 — Could have been much better *2020-03-04, version 1.0* As much as I love the Dark Romance series, I was a little disappointed with this one. The story was ok. It didn’t grab my excitement like the others in this series. It was just like Maleficent mistress of evil. The graphics were excellent, voices sounded good. The play time was a decent amount. The games were all fun and different. So this helped to make it fun and I did enjoy playing it. It was not all bad. The worst part was The sensitivity of this game. It was was horrible and sometimes extremely frustrating. I was not sure if it was my IPad or the game, but after reading Linx Minx, KimTwilight69 I realized it was not just me. I am a big fan of Domini and have always enjoyed playing their games. I honestly do recommend you trying the trial on this one to see if it grabs your attention before purchasing it. I hope everyone is staying warm out there. The game is Chimeras: Price of Greed. My review has been deleted over and over. I won’t write another one, and if this one is deleted I’m deducting stars! Please refer to KimTwilight’s review, as I agree with her entirely. This game was gorgeous and magical, but not innovative. I do love playing from the perspectives of two protagonists. There was way better quality assurance but some slight touchscreen sensitivity issues. It was also very brief! We need more sub-genres because after a while these games are way too similar! I thought 2020 would see an increase in releases - so far it feels exactly the same as last year. I’m thinking of walking away from this for a few months and coming back when there is a stockpile. ### 3/5 — Not All The Flowers Bloomed In Ethereal Gardens! *2020-02-24, version 1.0* Although this series is a standout in that it offers players insight into the interchanging perspectives of two main protagonists, I feel underwhelmed by the exhaustively explored storyline, which conveys the concept of being whisked off to another world to save a loved one from an evil queen. On the other hand, Domini is adept at conjuring up well-detailed and imaginative environments, which evince a sense of curiosity in me as I explore surrealistic landscapes and stumble upon quirky-looking objects. The hybrid traits of some of the characters further enhance the otherworldly ambiance; for example, the tree man with the long, grassy beard. The adventure portion of gameplay is entertaining, but it does not deliver enough innovative touches, something this developer is known for. Furthermore, even though the HOSs are multilayered and varied, they lack the artful interactions that "wow" me in some of their other games. Fortunately, there is light at the end of the tunnel. In my opinion, the puzzles are the strongest component of the game; they are cleverly constructed and surprisingly challenging. I particularly enjoyed the one in which you place vines on a board and connect them to the pumpkins. Another favorite is the one in which you move balls of light to their matching colors within the limited amount of moves. All in all, this game, in my opinion, is not memorable, as it lacks a refreshing storyline as well as the high level of creativity I've come to expect from this developer. Additionally, throughout the entire game, I felt inundated by the frustrating touch sensitivity issue, rendering the process tedious to acquire and place inventory items. Moreover, I had to solve one of the puzzles on the easy mode, as the puzzle kept freezing up on the harder mode. Thankfully, I was able to complete the game without coming across a fatal flaw. On a final note, I think this game is still good enough to pass some time; however, it's just not my favorite. Also first chapter keeps glitching to the point of needing to close it down. I was hoping that after purchasing it that it would get better. Seems it only gets worse. Usually really enjoy your games but this one doesn’t pass the bar unfortunately. Well they haven’t, twice within a few minutes of playing the game I had trouble. First time round was with playing for the whistle for the donkey. I got the whistle only to find the game shrunk right up to the top left hand corner. I had to come out and clear the game then had to play that part again to get the whistle, that time it played correctly. Now just played the mini game with the pumpkins and yes, low and behold got the item and ended up with the game shrunk to the top left corner. Having to shut down the game again and hopefully it will play correctly. Well it still isn’t playing properly and it looks like I will have to ask for my money back. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2020-08-29* Needs an update....scenes minimize to upper left corner.....have to reboot to fix. I paid for the endless hints and skips and hate when this happens.
