## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Screaming, tortured character?

*2018-07-12, version 1.0.0*

Shame on you

### 2/5 — Mixed review

This had all the makings of a great game! Storylines were interesting, graphic were nice, map, journal, hint, skip etc.
The MAJOR problems are frustrating to say the least. You'll have to tap objects 10 times or more for it to recognize what you are doing. It froze multiple times. It was impossible to complete some mini games because the touch screen was so off. It's getting harder to find good games.

### 3/5 — Well done 👍🏼

*2016-09-07, version 1.0.0*

Worth the $2.99 holiday sale price..thanks BF! This is by Domini games. Decent length, unique story, no major glitches or crashes but there are a few gameplay issues...screen transitions are slow (c'mon Domini it's 2016..there's no excuse for a 'loading' screen between transitions!). Also tap response is off in some places. I do wish BF would stop begging for ratings during gameplay. Like I said..it was worth the 2.99 sale price.

### 3/5 — Could have been great, 3.5 stars

First, the good. The graphics are very well done. I love the theme; you encounter various characters from mythological literature. And it started out well. There are scenes, initially, with items you can interact with beyond gameplay (such as roses changing color, butterflies swarming, etc.) But those go away after a few scenes. The HOS are varied a bit, with some morphing items in certain scenes. There are collectibles. I really like the two indicator icons on the task bar that let you know if there are collectibles in that scene. Good transporting map.
Now the bad. Gameplay is very a to b, b to c, etc., which is surprising considering that you switch between two characters. I prefer a game that makes me think at least a little. In the HOS, there are mistakes, such as you need to find a helmet, but the list says "helm." In another area, the game instructs you to remove the chains to free the shield. Well, you had just gotten the shield, which was not chained. Instead it is a metal grate with a mace behind it. My point is, I think the developers phoned this game in on certain aspects. Gameplay is not long either. I've definitely played shorter, but it really feels like the game was cut short at the end. Like they were told to hurry up so Big Fish can put out a "new game every day."

### 4/5 — Enjoyed it!

*2016-11-25, version 1.0.0*

Pretty good game!

### 4/5 — Good game, despite fractured myths

*2016-09-09, version 1.0.0*

Liked the Match 3 option for Hidden Objects.
Enjoyed playing the game, so for that I give it a good rating. Had to blank out all references to Greek myths since they were severely distorted here.

### 4/5 — Dark Romance: The Kingdom of Death by LynxMinx

*2016-09-09, version 1.0.0*

We all think of developers such as Elephant, ERS, EIPIX and Mad Head. We forget Domini, and they give us some terrific games! This was amazing, unfortunately not a 5 star game, but still fantastic.
It revolves around Greek mythology. I hated history except for Mythology. Gorgeous graphics, no rats, even Hades was darkly exquisite. The game was a decent length and had a bonus adventure. Inventory was labeled, interactive, and there were complex items to assemble. Loading was not instantaneous between locations but it was a very short lag time. There was a lot to do at each location. You could customize your settings. There was an excellent teleport map to transport you, marked if so customized. The HO scenes were varied, or you could play match-3. There were a lot of puzzles and games. A lot were boring rotational junk, but there were some fun and innovative puzzles as well. Some were games of skill or dexterity. There was something for everyone. There were collectible artifacts and olive branches. At least the olive branches allow you to decorate a boudoir which then gives you info on characters in Greek Mythology. Objectives were regularly updated; there were notes but no real journal to keep track of the story. The game basically ran smoothly, except for an occasional lag in obtaining an inventory item, or moving dialogue along. I didn't encounter any major glitches.
I loved this game, but in all fairness I had to deduct a star for lack of a cohesive journal, lag time loading between locations, and lag time in obtaining inventory. Also let's have some more interesting and original puzzles; I know a lot of reviewers are tired of all that rotational stuff! However, this game was gorgeous and magical, had exciting cut-scenes and I will definitely play it again. Lynxie sends lots of 💋❤️😘 to KimTwilight, Dracyy, and the rest of my fabulous and hard-working Dream Team Elite!

### 4/5 — Do I Take This Game To Be My Lawful Wedded Romance? "I Do"!

*2016-09-06, version 1.0.0*

This genre falls within the category of mythical fiction that intertwines elements of myth, folklore, and fairytale, which are detailed throughout your quest as you meet various characters with stories to tell within imaginary lands filled with supernatural essences. You encounter distinct, legendary, and magical creatures that can communicate as humans do; and you heroically fight off villainous, mythical gods when you are thrust into predicaments where your endurance and strength are tested through spiritual and physical challenges. I love the interchangeable perspectives of the two "love-struck" main characters. The visuals are aesthetically appealing and ornamental in presentation. The color wheel is augmented with vibrant, blazing, and luminous shades that deliver an ebullient atmosphere. You can customize your settings; choices are standard. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The calibration, referring to the inventory, needs a sensitivity adjustment; it is tedious to acquire and place items at times. The integrated teleport map encompasses features, such as your journal and collectibles. It functions in a superior capacity; namely, fast transition, indicated tasks, labeled locations, and marked "extras." It's a shame that this game disregards the inclusion of a journal to expand one's insight into the story. The HOS consist of the traditional styles we have grown accustomed to; however, they are structured with a gratifying medley of various types. The puzzles are introduced in accordance with relative actions performed; some are inventive and clever in presentation and form. I love the one where you move around nautical objects to clear columns so the net can catch the fish. The cut-scenes are compelling and effective; however, their transitions are sluggish and clunky. Transition between scenes is intermittently slow, as well as upon accessing some interactive pop-ups. You have some collectibles, which are well-camouflaged. Overall, this is a well-rounded game with satisfying components and variety. I deducted a star due to the mechanical glitches as stated above.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

### 5/5 — Needs a little bit more of a challenge

*2016-10-11, version 1.0.0*

This game needs a little bit more of a challenge but since I dead to play two different roles it made the game even more fun. We need more games like this one!!....

Well done. Nice graphics, decent storyline. Some of the puzzles are skip-worthy, but overall, I enjoyed this game. Nice and long as well.

Wild adventure with lots to do & interesting characters to meet. Very different storyline with beautiful graphics & special effects. Fun & different hidden object scenes & puzzles. Loved the morphing hidden object scenes, very nice touch. A much needed teleporting map. Looking forward to a possible sequel on this one!

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2016-09-07, version 1.0.0*

This is a great game. Very long. It was different then previous games I have played. Loved being two different characters. Too many hidden object scenes with only morphing objects. Some mini games easy, some more difficult. Good map and teleport. Interesting storyline. Most hos are shadow pictures and not lists or they are a combination. I enjoyed this game and found no bugs.

### 5/5 — Great story

*2016-09-06, version 1.0.0*

Fun game. Its has a mixture of myth, love and drama. Pay attention to storyline because it is clever and interesting. Maybe we can see something like this again in the future...
By the way no glitches yay!

### 5/5 — Kingdom of Death - this Dark Romance captured my heart!

*2016-09-05, version 1.0.0*

Ancient Greece, jealous Gods and the ability to play two characters. That's just the first minutes! Custom difficulty, indicated map, intense and gorgeous artwork, collectable items (inventory bar glows to show what type and what scene you find them in, olives or other items) plus match 3 options on HO but the most spectacular thing is the artwork. I know I will be playing this game more than once! Verdict:BUY!
