But once I purchased the full version I only played the game for a few hours total in between having to drive and eat and do responsibilities. It means the world to us. ### 4/5 — Dark Romance: Vampire Origins by LynxMinx *2020-12-04* UPDATE 12/02: Elephant released a new installment of Christmas Stories. It’s called Tree Forest. They said it would have a 30% discount but they basically lied. It was their other games in that series which would, but most are not compatible with the new iOS anyway. Sorry for the misunderstanding! The game is full price, but it should be on the longer side! Note to awesomeperson: kindly do not rate a game which you haven’t played yet! You don’t know what lies ahead, so it’s not advantageous to do so. No developer deserves 5 stars for simply releasing a game; that is what they are supposed to do. Not on my team, bye! First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I know this is a particularly challenging one, and hopefully the next one will be a big improvement. On to the game. I don’t particularly like vampires, but I love this series because you play from two separate perspectives. The storyline piqued my interest and the gameplay was extremely enjoyable, until the quality assurance took a nosedive in the last part of the main game. At times there were no map marks and the touchscreen sensitivity declined measurably. It was difficult to acquire inventory items, especially in the HO scenes. In addition, the text (especially when receiving an achievement) remained on the screen way too long, which meant the game was somewhat sluggish. The gameplay interface actually improved during the bonus adventure. I am not trying to nitpick, but we need better touch screen sensitivity, Oleg! However, the game was lengthy, the graphics were terrific, and there were a plethora of interesting tasks at each location. The HO scenes had wonderful variety, and the puzzles/ games were thankfully not all rotational. We were provided with games of dexterity, rotational puzzles, baking bread, brewing a potion, and a labyrinth, which is my favorite type. There was a puzzle to suit every player. Truthfully this game was terrific and my true rating will be 4.5 stars. I deducted only a half star for the aforementioned issues. Also, I have an update. For those of you who are wondering, I am quite sure Oleg will have a Christmas game and I have been informed by an Elephant executive that we will have a holiday- themed game. So that’s great news! I was also asked to build my dream game for Elephant, so I gave them my “laundry list.” If they actually take the suggestions I gave them, it would be a 5 star blockbuster! The bar was locked, so it should not have happened. The touch issue was again a problem, and in the scene where climbing the ice wall, it took several attempts before the icicles would sync and disappear.
