I really enjoyed it but it does seem a tad unfinished. Developer, check Zeewolf out and you'll see what you'll need to do to make this a retro 5 star game. ### 2/5 — ??? *2011-07-31* I'm not sure what to do when the game has Random commands, so in the next update,the game should have purpose...... ### 3/5 — Would be five stars... *2011-06-28* ...if there was a way to fire in a direction other than down. Some ships fly higher than you can, so they are indestructible, unless you get one of their friends to shoot them when aiming at you. ### 4/5 — Good *2011-05-17* Fun game.It is a little hard to control but fun once you get it.I figured it out pretty soon.Just need to improve on the background. ### 2/5 — Needs a bit of work *2011-04-29* This is very similar to David Braben's Virus. The controls are a bit tricky to master and could be improved with a bit of smoothing - the ship looks like it's got a nervous tic. A bit more altitude would be good and a shadow on the landscape below you would help prevent crashing unexpectedly, which is annoying. Virus had seeker missiles which would be a bonus. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into this but it needs a bit more polish and a few tweaks before people will pay for it. ### 2/5 — Dark flow.READ *2011-04-20* I like this app but I don't think I'll be playing it again soon till the following things have come out as an update: infinite thrust because it's in the future, being able to go higher into the sky because its a planet and in case you didn't know planets don't have force fields around them to stop you going more than a few ft into the air and last but not least the tractor beam can only go a few ft down to the ground its a tractor beam for Gods sake. In conclusion this app isn't worth downloading till these updates have been added to the game. I gave this app  not  because it has potential not what it is at the moment. Thanks for reading this I hope Giles and his fake reviews take some notice in what i have said.  ### 3/5 — Cool premise, bad execution. *2011-02-28* Even if this is a low budget game for the iPhone, I had hoped it would have better graphics. I like the premise and controls are nicely done, even if they are a bit unusual. Unfortunately, the feeling and graphics are not well-executed and don't make the game as engaging as it should be. Since it is free, it won't be a waste of space or time getting it, but a bit more from it wouldn't hurt. ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2010-12-25* Why don't they put some of the effort that went into making the opening screens look good into making the actual game play screen layout better. For example, don't put informative text directly obscuring one's center of action and view. There's a nice atmosphere hiding in this game, but the font on the button labels takes it right back to a 1996 demo. And the only difference between your ship and the native ships' propulsion exhaust(?) and tractor beams is the color? Come on, make it more obvious, like with some rod shaped "beam" particles for example. Better luck with the ads. ### 4/5 — Hard to learn but fun. *2010-11-02* Takes some getting used to. Est ce un jeu crash test pour tester l'envoi sur la apple store ou vraiment pas fait expres? This is blatantly obvious by the fact they were all posted on the 2nd April and the fact he can't spell in all of them (beet is spelt 'beat' by the way). The game play is greatly improved, the graphics more expansive and smoother and the dog-fights more controllable. The addition of moving targets to hoover up with the tractor beam adds a new dimention. However, the game retains the retro-cool feel and its original ambiant soundtrack.
