## What is Daruma Countdown?

Make a wish. Count the days. Paint the eye.

In Japan, a daruma is bought with both eyes blank. You paint in the first eye when you set a goal, and the second when it comes true. Daruma Countdown brings that ritual to your iPhone.

HOW IT WORKS
• Set a goal, an optional deadline, and pick a daruma color and pattern.
• A one-eyed daruma and the number of days left appear on your Home Screen and Lock Screen.
• Reached your goal? Trace the empty eye with your finger and paint it in, with a soft haptic and sound.
• Finished daruma move to your Shelf, each with a tag showing the goal and the date you achieved it.

FEATURES
• Widgets for the Home Screen (small and medium) and the Lock Screen (circular and rectangular). Pin several daruma at once.
• Gentle deadlines: pass your date and the widget says "Still going · 3 days over". No guilt.
• Organize goals with categories.
• Share a picture of your daruma and your Shelf.
• Colors and patterns, including seasonal designs, each with a short note on the occasion.
• Optional iCloud sync across your devices.

PRIVACY
• The app starts with 10 daruma slots. Watch an optional rewarded ad to unlock another one.
• No account needed. Your goals are stored on your device, and in your own iCloud if you turn sync on.
• Ads are provided by Google AdMob. You can review your ad choices in the app's settings.

Requires iOS 17 or later.
