## What is Dash?

Dash is the shared list for the people in your life.

Roommates fighting over who's buying paper towels? Couples losing track of what's in the fridge? Families running ten errands across three text threads? Dash keeps all of it in one place — and everyone on the same page, in real time.

No more "wait, did you already get bread?" No more screenshotting a grocery list to your partner. Add an item on your phone and it shows up on theirs instantly.

  — WHAT YOU CAN DO —

  • Make as many lists as you want — groceries, chores, weekend errands, packing for a trip, the running list of everything broken in your apartment.

  • Share any list with a tap. Anyone you share it with can add, check off, or reorder items live.

  • Real-time sync across every device. No refresh, no waiting, no merge conflicts.

  • Reorder items by dragging. Check things off as you go.

  • Works without an account. Open the app and start adding — no sign-up wall, no ads.

  • Sign in with Apple or Google when you want to keep lists across devices or share with someone.

  — BUILT FOR —

  • Roommates splitting groceries and household supplies
  • Couples coordinating shopping, errands, and meal prep
  • Families managing chores, school runs, and weekend to-dos
  • Friends planning trips, parties, or move-in day
  • Anyone tired of running their household over group chat

  — WHY DASH —

We didn't build another bloated productivity app. No projects, no tags, no priority levels, no AI assistant trying to summarize your grocery list. Just shared lists that work the moment you share them.

Open the app, type the thing you need, hand the list to someone you live with. That's it.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-05-22

This release focuses on making shared lists feel more personal, giving owners more control, and tightening up navigation.

New

• Reorder your lists on the home screen. Long-press any list to lift it, then drag it to a new spot. The order is saved on your device and new lists land at the top so they're easy to reach.

• Archive lists you're done with instead of deleting them. Swipe left on a list (or long-press) to reveal Archive and Delete actions. Archived lists move to a new "Archived Lists" section on your profile, where you can restore them anytime. Archiving is owner-only.

• See who's actually on a shared list. The placeholder avatars are gone — every list now shows real member initials, both in the list row and in the list header, with a "+N" overflow when there are more than three.

• Tap a shared list link and you'll be guided through a quick sign-in with Apple or Google before joining, so the owner always sees real names instead of anonymous accounts.

• A new in-app Help & Support page, reachable from Settings. Includes a contact form, an FAQ, and the support email if you'd rather reach out directly. We typically reply within two business days.

• Delete your account from the Profile screen. Removes your sign-in, your owned lists and items, and your profile data. Confirmation copy spells out exactly what will be removed before you commit.

Improvements

• Refreshed the Delete account button styling on the Profile screen so it matches the Sign out button. The destructive confirmation dialog is unchanged — your account is still safe behind a confirm step.

• Brighter, more legible red for destructive labels like "DANGER ZONE" and the list-header trash icon.

Fixes

• Eliminated the faint white flash that could appear at the corners of the screen when pushing into a list or swiping back to the home screen.
