Being able to run full speed and immediately see the time is amazing. It made our kids even more competitive with thermos training! ### 5/5 — Easily the best laser system *2023-05-30, version 2.3.12* Honestly they should charge more. The amount of test these lasers can run. And if you are creative there’s a lot of different ways to use this system. Forty’s, shuttle runs, l drills, board jumps vertical jumps, even reactive drills. I haven’t found another system that can do this many things and be this cost efficient! ### 5/5 — Best Option in the business *2023-05-26, version 2.3.12* We have been using the dashr system, for the last 4 years and the amount of data we are able to give back to our athletes, parents, and coaches is amazing. There are multiple test that can be provided which help our company measure performance progressions in our athletes. Would definitely recommend this to trainers, sports organizations and athletes in order to stay ahead of the game. ### 5/5 — Amazing System! *2023-05-25, version 2.3.12* We use the Dashr system almost daily in our athlete training facility. It gives us immediate and accurate data on our athletes’ performance and gives them the data to know the work they are putting in is valuable!! I love that all my times are automatically saved online so I do not have to write anything down. ### 5/5 — Works well for the price! *2020-01-08, version 2.09* We have been using the Dashr laser timer for our football program and measuring our athletes speed. Timers are consistent and very versatile, measures a variety of different exercises (40 yard dash, flying 10m, pro agility, 3 cone drill, etc). One laser stopped working and the company shipped another one right away no questions asked. Would recommend to any coach looking to easily measure athlete performance. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Customer service horrible *2025-06-05, version 2.5.8* I have emailed with no response with some technical response. I had the originals, worked great, upgraded to blue years later, worked ok, upgraded to silver and it doesn’t time the same like the algorithm is off. I have done THOUSANDS of run throughs. Call customer service to get help and guy (Brett I think) just says “we have 5000 silvers out and there isn’t a problem yet. Instead of actually troubleshooting just insinuates that it’s my problem. I tell him I will try again and will call back if trouble persists….and he just hangs up one me!!! Seriously? I spend thousands over the years and this is how a customer is treated. Also when creating an account, I constantly get error messages when logging into said new account. 11/23/2022 ### 1/5 — No longer works with iOS *2022-05-17, version 2.3.5* I upgraded to the new Blue lasers and it will not work with iOS. Their solution was to buy a Samsung tablet! After two more emails, I have not received a reply. I have used Dashr for 4 years now and have been one of their biggest advocates in the state of Georgia. No more. We lost the 5a state championship in the 4x1 and not being able to time our exchanges in practice may have cost us. ### 1/5 — DO NOT UPDATE to Version 2.3.3, this version presenting issues *2022-02-03, version 2.3.3* Recent update seems to be having issues. Not registering athletes or giving a “go” indication when setting. Was working fine beforehand two days ago (1/1/22), now we are unable to test athletes. Other coaches at our facility that have not updated (i.e. still on 2.3.2 according to settings) seem to be having no issues. Will update review rating back when I can use it again. ### 1/5 — Literally nothing works. *2019-10-08, version 2.0.4* The app crashes every time you click on something. I can’t pair my lasers because it force closes every time you push the pair button. I’ve tried deleting and re downloading, I’ve tried restarting my phone, nothing works. ### 4/5 — App freezing. *2024-07-14, version 2.5.2* Not able to track multiple splits out to 40 yards. We ran an event yesterday for an a former NFL defensive back. We used 3 sets of gates looking to track 10/20/40 split times. App failed after the first 20 minutes of timing. We had to use hand times.
