Disaster Assessment Surveyor System (DASS) is a scientific field data collection tool developed by CSIRO to support bushfire risk assessments, post-incident surveys, and vegetation monitoring. Built on top of the Fieldmark platform, the app enables field officers, researchers, and emergency response teams to capture and submit data directly from the field. Users can log site-specific details such as property type, hazard conditions, damage assessments, fire activity, suppression actions, occupancy, and restoration status.
