Second it has questions for all of the DAT sections. As to the repeating questions, I'd say they only help reinforcing the material. Few suggestion I would make is increase the length of passages for the RC section: they are unrealistically short and second maybe add an optional timer, so people could also improve on the speed. It will crash all the time and just do weird things once a selection is made or crossed out. As soon as you open app it's nothing but a black screen. ### 2/5 — Too Many Errors *2016-06-07* I like how easy this app is to use. I'm able to study on the go very easily. However, I've noticed so many wrong answers for the questions. For example, they said that "the higher the pKa value, the stronger the acid," which is completely false. I'm starting to question the credibility of this app, which is why I gave it 2 stars. ### 2/5 — Beware *2016-03-25* I was highly disappointed with this app and expected more when dealing with something as significant as the DAT. Here are somethings I noticed. Pros: •They have good helpful tips on studying and mnemonics. •I liked how they had a section just for terminology. •The explanations to the answers or concepts gives you enough detail to understand why that is. Cons: •Organic chemistry section, I feel, I not an accurate representation of the actual DAT. •PAT section is a bit of a hassle having to open up every image separately from the question, then closing it before choosing an answer. •Beware! I have noticed one too many errors in their questions, answers, and explanations. E.g. The correct answer THEY mark is completely incorrect; the explanation is not accurate and/or false. The last reason stated above has been the most concerning and why I only give it two stars. I have emailed them multiple times for every mistake I've encountered and have not seen any of the issues addressed. Maybe with a future update they will fix all that. This is supposed to be a study material for a professional exam, and since you pay for the full version, it better have correct information; which is questionable. I recommend that you spend your $20 somewhere else. There are various online resources you can use for tips and mnemonics, some are free. Otherwise, just be aware with questions and you really have to know your stuff beforehand so that incorrect info doesn't sneak up on you. The way I use this app now is just as extra practice to fill in time when I'm waiting in line, in the car, in between commercials. But I would not use this as a main source of learning the subject matter. ### 2/5 — So so *2016-01-06, version 3.12.3* This is well designed and great to use on the go,,,,, but there are many repeated questions! I emailed them about this and said to reinstall for the update. No difference!!! Your decision. ### 2/5 — Lots of repeated questions *2015-12-27, version 3.12.3* I used the light version and really liked it so I bought the full version. I love the app's easy to navigate interface and detailed explanations. I was, however very disappointed at the number of repeated and extremely similar questions included in the 1000+ questions promised for $19.99. I think the price is a little steep for the actual number of unique practice questions you get. If more original questions were included, this would be the best mobile app for on-the-go DAT prep. ### 3/5 — its better than nothing i guess *2019-02-25* every now and then u will get a question that has the correct answer as the wrong answer and there is no way to send data to the developers to correct that. I like that it gives explanations to questions and also that it has flash cards and mnemonics to help remember topics. The only thing I don't like is that in some sections it will say there are like 20 questions but then 3 of them will be the same question so that glitch should get fixed. This is not the only studying program I have--but it's honestly helping me so much. Times where I'm away from my laptop and/or want to quickly do some questions, I use this app. In addition, the content is so so so helpful!! The 80+ amazing mnemonics, flashcards for important terminology and prefix/suffixes, awesome words of encouragement and strategies for tackling the DAT. I sometimes go on their website too. Not to mention, the interface is very user friendly! You get to rate questions based on how well you know them so you can review only the ones that you're having trouble with.
