## What is Data Exporter by GrooveWise?

Data Exporter turns the data already on your iPhone — Contacts, Photos, Calendar, Reminders, Motion & Fitness, and Music Library — into clean, structured JSON files you actually own and control.

Built for anyone who wants their personal data usable outside the app that collected it — for your own analysis, a real backup, or handing it to whatever tool you choose, instead of trusting a single app's database forever.

HOW IT WORKS
Turn on the data types you want, tap Export, and Data Exporter reads each one (using Apple's own frameworks, read-only) and writes it to dated JSON files. Domains that support it — Photos, Calendar, Motion & Fitness — sync incrementally after the first run, so later exports are fast and also correctly handle deletions and edits, not just new records.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Everything is written to your device by default. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you explicitly turn on a destination — an external folder (like iCloud Drive) or a server URL you configure yourself. Data Exporter has no account, no analytics, and no backend of its own; GrooveWise never sees your data.

RUNS ON A SCHEDULE
Choose best-effort background exports (using iOS's own background scheduler, plus a daily reminder as a fallback) or a notification-only reminder if you'd rather trigger exports yourself.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
• Contacts — your full address book
• Photos — metadata by default (dates, location, album); full image/video files as an option
• Calendar — events across a rolling window
• Reminders — your reminder lists
• Motion & Fitness — steps, distance, floors climbed
• Music Library — songs and playlists

FREE TO TRY
Export up to 10 items per data type for free, manually, any time. Unlock unlimited history plus scheduled automation with either a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription — whichever you prefer.
