Data Guardian is a powerful database application for managing an address book, customer database, Christmas shopping list, journal, password manager, or even notepad! Easily create collections to store records, apply custom color labels and icons, and add an unlimited number of fields with custom names to each record. Unlike a traditional database, each record contains its own field set - have records in the same database that serve a variety of purposes instead of being stuck to one field set for all records. Choose from a variety of field types: • Normal Text: A single line field. • Slider: A horizontal slider control which allows setting the current value, maximum value, and minimum value. • Checkbox: A control which can be toggled to "On" or "Off" • Selection Menu: A menu control in which an unlimited number of options can be presented. • Separator: A horizontal divider. Eine Synchronisation funktioniert nicht. Beim Löschen von Datensätzen stürzt die App regelmäßig ab. In einem derart unzuverlässigen Programm speichere ich keine Kennwörter. Das Upgraden auf die Pro Version (was immer auch Pro bedeutet) kostet, wird aber nicht erstattet. ### 1/5 — Loved it... time to move on *2020-04-13, version 4.0.5* 10 year user. Upgraded every time. Had to bear with the occasional crashes and the instability of the version on macOS. Does not sync well with macOS version 5 (one entry always missing). Crashes when using faceid. Found it less and less friendly and new system is appalling payment scheme. Malgré plusieurs tickets ce dysfonctionnement qui rend la sécurité vaine, n’est toujours pas réglé dans la version 5. Problème qui date de plus de deux ans. Je change donc d’application. Outright extortion. ### 4/5 — Mostly good *2018-07-25, version 2.1.3* After years of not maintaining the app, the recent upgrade was a welcome change. The flaws were long overdue to be fixed. Mostly reliable now for me, and the paid upgrade is worthwhile for a trustable vault not plastered with tiresome ads. ### 1/5 — No mobile sync unless you pay & max 10 records to save. *2018-05-27, version 2.1.2* As previous reviews stated. Do not update to DG v2 and macOS v4 unless you are willing to pay $10. There is no turning back. You will not be able to sync and save more then 10 records. Remember, developer deliberately did hide info about it. ### 1/5 — How Utterly Sneaky!!! *2018-05-17, version 2.1.1* I have used Data Guardian for years on my Macs. Paid to upgrade, told everyone how elated I am with it, etc. Then the IOS app came out. It was great - kept me from having to run back to my laptop to get passwords. There were a few glitches in the app over the years, but nothing to write home about. Now that my Data Guardian MacOS app has been upgraded to version 4, mobile synching to my iPad has made the IOS app justy about useless ---- unless I upgrade it to PRO? Maybe $9.99 would be worth getting back my data - "almost" like ransomw-ware. BUT TO SNEAK IT IN ON US IS INEXCUSABLE! Not even a clue on the Koingo website OR the iTunes App Store. If I update my IOS Data Guardian app to PRO, will it work?
