Is it possible that you report data usage in KiB, MiB, GiB instead of KB, MB, GB ? 
Strictly speaking they are NOT the same and thus do not give the same numbers: a GB is a power of a 1000 (it's used by Apple) but a GiB is a power of 1024 (it's used by Microsoft).
If I'm correct you should change that, so that we can compare your numbers with Apple's !...

*Second month: you report 3GB while Apple is already at 8GiB so... I'm moving along, it's not serious; probably the work of a zealout nerdy college student!
