However, that being said this app developers need to offer updates to make it more current…this being said the app is good. ### 3/5 — Well created but lacks needs *2023-04-26, version 6.0.2* The app is extremely well created and I don’t have a problem using it but it seriously needs updating as it lacks many maps along with only including a few of the champion point options even being mentioned to select under recording a build. The champion points seriously need sorting as it look as though it was never fully done (I can’t find the ones my ESO character uses). It would be great to add a potion/poison recipe list and favourite list option for it as it’s a pain remembering your favourite potions and poisons in the game plus how to create them at the alchemist station. ### 3/5 — Overall the best ESO App *2023-04-12, version 6.0.2* The character builder is great; However, we need a calculator so we don’t have to hand jam attributes. It’d be nice to have a way to add gear to a character build and see an average DPS or damage mitigation calculation as well. Also this app needs updated! It’s been over a year. If you’re going to charge 10$ for an app ensure that it’s updated with current patches in game. This definitely has potential and I hope the dev team figures it out! ### 4/5 — I really like this! Still not great. ### 3/5 — Has a screen rotation bug *2021-07-30, version 6.0.1* Has a bug where when you load up the app you just see the 3 faction logo, and it mimics a failed load bug. Seems to be an interface issue. I turned off screen rotation lock and rotated my tablet, and then an entire side menu that was invisible to be before popped up.. Otherwise it’s not terrible. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2020-11-15, version 5.4.1* *Edit: Support doesn’t work for the app, so there is no one to get ahold of for help. And I’ve found out through other channels that this app is no longer updated. It needs to be taken off the app stores* It’s missing any new content, which tells me they get their info from the eso app which is no longer being updated by zenimax due to the “accidental” deletion of all their data and backup data for the app. There is no way to have an accurate character build, nor can you even save it still. A good portion of the map icons over lap and so you have to turn in and off individual icons in order to see others. Most of the lore book icons don’t have a description of what lore book or where exactly it is. It takes the same effort, if not more, to use this app than it does to google the information. The only good part of this is that it had a little bit more on the maps than the eso app and it had a complete list of armor sets. And there is a little info on builds, but even that is missing key factors that make a build, like what kind of armor or where to put stats for most of the builds. ### 1/5 — Out of date *2020-09-29, version 5.4.1* Great features but way out of date ### 1/5 — Needs updated!!!! *2020-09-16, version 5.4.1* !!!!BEWARE!!!! These app are not being updated. Don’t waste your money. They are great for current game data but not new stuff. I have a necromancer!! Can’t even attempt to use this app. How can you charge people 5.99 for a non updated app?! Necromancer has been out for some time now. C mon!! I want my money back. ### 1/5 — More like 0-Star *2020-01-18, version 5.4.1* This app is absolutely useless. The character build function crashes every time you attempt to save it, regardless of the update stating they fixed the issue. Even if you COULD save it, the stats are completely inaccurate. This app has a full library of sets, yet when entering your build info there’s no option to select your set. You find yourself looking it up on other source to tabulate manually, only to be capped off at 5000 and not be able to input accurate information. The skill point counter is inaccurate, you’re expected to know exactly what enchantment bonuses you get (although they’re ALL capped at 500). No option to alter gear quality, not that it would matter seeing as they don’t tabulate armor/resistance either. It’s incomplete, sloppy, and absolutely useless. The build library was assembled by people who have never played the game and it shows. The guides are relatively useless, the maps can’t be zoomed. If you want it for the database, just search Google because I’m fairly certain that’s all the creators were doing. It’s a waste of money, and the fact that they’re still in the App Store taking it from people and nothing has been done about it is ridiculous. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great App for any ESO lover *2025-11-15, version 7.0.0* It’s a great app I love all the features! My only complaint is it can be a little slow to update, but that is not to take away from the amazing detail put into the app. It has taken my character building to the next level! ### 5/5 — Veteran ESO Player - Black Plague Guild Owner (Xbox) *2021-09-03, version 6.0.2* This app has been very helpful for assisting our newcomers with everything they need to know. The app is very clean and well organized, letting us quickly get information for our events and other guild activities within the game. It’s really the best centralized “Hub” for ESO. I was hesitant at first because of the past reviews but in all honesty these developers listen to the community and improve where needed. P.S. Black Plague is an PvE Guild including multiple sub guilds on Xbox North American server. We are very well structured to teach new players to the game and still entertain the Veterans who are easy going. Your not able to equip set armor, only pick how you would set your stats up. If it was tweaked to decide a full build and what the outcome stats would be for that build this app would go a long way. New CP system should be worked in as well. Looks like they had to start from scratch to rebuild the app. Points for doing that! It’s a job! I’ve gone through the app and have been very happy with it!! It works like a charm! ### 5/5 — A Must Have for Any Tamriel Adventurer *2021-05-22, version 5.4.1* This app is the best money I’ve spent on any app in all the time since the debut of the App Store. It has been incredibly helpful as a quick reference finding all the goodies in ESO easily.
