Simple to use, nice user interface and their ongoing improvements keep making the product better! ### 2/5 — Not reliable *2022-09-21, version 7.5.3* I have used this for work, forced to, for years and EVERY SINGLE TIME it shorts you on the mileage tracking. I follow the Google Maps route it requires and it shorts you on the mileage it tracks as opposed to the mileage the vehicle odometer records. I have had my odometer checked and it is correct. The method this software uses does not appear to be. ### 4/5 — Very fast and intuitive *2022-04-05* I love using the Databasics app. It is quick to log into, intuitive and easy to save all of the data. It would be nice to be able to see all lines simultaneously however it’s still a very good and very functional app that I will continue to use. ### 4/5 — Great for timesheets, prefer computer version for expenses *2022-04-04, version 7.5.3* Easy to post timesheets and also approve. Inputting multiple projects in at the same time is horrendous on the app. The webpage interface works much better for timekeeping. The expense system works decently on mobile but is very cluttered. The expense reading system only works on a few receipts. Will not let fill in all the blanks on a page. Have to submit multiple times and wait for errors. The last solution the company had required too many steps and most of the time it was just easier to do it on my laptop. I’d simply stated that it was the worst app on my phone, and it still is. The people at DATABASICS reached out to me for me to suggest what they could improve. I made some suggestions and bumped them up to two stars. They never contacted me back and it remains as it was. Someone else in the reviews said that there was probably a chasm between developer and user, and the more I think about it, I think that is true. It is not intuitive and it’s cumbersome. ### 1/5 — App is awful *2021-09-30, version 7.5* Cannot enter more than 2 meal receipts at a time without it crashing and restarting. This app proves how much programmers hate and despise end-users. Nothing is intuitive. No weekly view of time entered - dates aren’t even shown, just some unhelpful squarish blobs. Icons are a nerdfest - I guarantee my 59yo coworker has no idea that the funnel is actually a ‘filter.’ Wants a four-digit sign in PIN but defaults to kb? As the Timekeeping Manager, I use DB on a daily basis, and the app makes timesheet approvals so convenient. It is easy to view the Timesheet Report and Leave Balances. When I started using a Bluetooth wireless mouse on iPadOS, I requested support due to limited functionality of the mouse interface. DATABASICS Customer Support responded quickly and informed me of their progress to fix the mouse interface issue until an update was made. Literally 30 seconds to enter my time and expenses are equally easy.
