We will add that to the list glad you like the app :) It is a great feature request. ### 4/5 — Needs work but still cool *2022-07-25* Update App still isn’t working on iPhone 13 but I am happy to say it works on the new iPad Air just like it should Maybe an update will fix the iPhone version once I navigate to the color mixer page there is no way to navigate back to the previous screen with all the effects the buttons under the mixer are not working I am on iPhone 13 iOS 15.5 I have reached out to the developer and was contacted via email I have since tried on my iPad Air and it works just fine hopefully an update will fix the iPhone version. There is also a FAQ built into both apps. **As an update you didn’t email us after we wrote this ### 3/5 — Good, but not there yet *2022-01-27, version 1.1* The ideas here are really great, and when you take the time figure out the controls you’re def rewarded with a pretty cool editing tool. But there’s a pretty big glitch in that when you give it access to your camera roll nothing shows up, footage only shows up in your files. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading and it didn’t help, so with that in mind idk if it’s worth the £5. Still needs some updates maybe until it gets there. ### 3/5 — Awesome app! *2022-01-14* Awesome app, i really enjoy messing around with this thing. Im hoping in the future a feature could be added where you can pause or slow down or scrub while the video is rolling so you could “fine tune” effects where youd like them placed, or some kind of way to make transitions smoother from video to video but that could possibly fall into the pause/play, or even fast forward or rewind thing i mentioned. It’s also not very intuitive from beginning to end. If you import one videos no want to edit, you have to close the app and start over unless I’m missing something. I understand the vintage aesthetics of the app, but I am not a big fan of the interface. wish you could turn the orientation in portrait mode, have a button to start recording (instead of just start recording in load), and showing the files with the little vhs tapes is fun, but sometimes can be difficult to see the little video thumbnail. It gets stuck at "encoding" the green line reaches 100% and then nothing happens. The screen just stays the same. I think I'll just ask for my money back. **Developer response:** Why don’t you actually write to tech-support? Why write a negative review and not actually try to work with us to fix the issue with your phone? Saying it does not work with the iPhone 14 is ridiculous . There are hundreds of people using this app with no issues. ### 1/5 — Want a refund. Misleading IG ad. *2023-01-03, version 1.2* Nothing like the IG Ad says. No effects that are on IG ad. Not sure if I’m missing something but I tried a few different songs and the visuals look identical for each one. The interface is also clunky and the lack of support for different aspect ratios makes it borderline unusable for me. I recommend Glitch Studio. EDIT: the devs responded that data mosh deluxe is the one that automatically reacts to audio but I came here directly from an Instagram as that said it was the only glitch app that reacts to audio, and it was an ad for THIS app not the deluxe one. Highly misleading. **Developer response:** Hey there, your questions definitely point to the fact that you didn’t do the tutorial. Like I said, they both react to audio in different ways. You’re comparing a program that is completely different than our program. Why wouldn’t you actually contact us? We could’ve helped you out with the program or even switched programs for you if you felt that it didn’t meet your expectations. I’m not really sure why it’s so easy to complain, trash and not give a small business a chance. It’s called working together to make the product better. Thank you ### 3/5 — The concept is cool *2023-03-16* Way too buggy. The videos always get stuck during the encoding process but the two times I did to use it were pretty cool. But buy at your own risk **Developer response:** If you write a review that our app is buggy and to buy at your own risk you should email support first to see if it is our app, your videos, your OS etc… These kind of comments hurt small developers, and there are many reasons why it could be buggy not related to our app, as we have had many many users purchase our app with no bugs. If you truly like the app and you want to sort this out, please email support we are here to help :) DAC ### 3/5 — Brilliant app but doesn’t display/output correctly on IPhone XR *2022-10-17, version 1.2* Seems to be a bug where the UI is all cropped and the outputted videos have the top and bottom chopped off. I really love this app, (5 star if fixed!) but it isn’t usable on this phone at the moment unfortunately ### 3/5 — Cannot upload or save video from camera roll *2022-04-13, version 1.1* The only way to get a video to load is through files and the only way to save is to files. The camera roll does not work. Please fix as this is a major annoyance & issue. Ty (Update 4-13-22) I got the app to work with camera roll after deleting and reuploading two times. I do like the app but there are some hangup issues, and the UI is not that intuitive when dealing with importing files and starting a new file to play with. I’m sure there’s different ways to get better results datamoshing but if you’re a beginner and just want to jump into creating easy. This is worth it. The app is easy to navigate, guides the user in the right direction, and always has a brief tutorial available to jog the user’s memory on what the buttons do. The reactive app, with its extensive effects and their controls, is a tool for users to create various unique videos. Being a beginner in this realm of editing, I look foward to learning and further utilizing this app for future (music) videos and edits. ### 5/5 — Maintain Original Aspect Ratio !!! *2023-01-21* I understand resizing the video to fit the UI, but can we please have the ability to maintain aspect ratio of source footage upon export? The ONLY thing I wish was different is the ability to choose aspect ratios. I love the default aspect ratio, but unfortunately everything media related is geared towards portrait mode. And I must say, I’m excited for what is going to be the future for artists, especially for the community who’s into glitch and a lot of your potential work, you guys never fail. Always keep up the GREAT WORK. Two things I would like to address, starting with that, the reason I gave a 5 stars is because the app is gonna so much to expand on! You can create anything. I did watch the tutorial, which did catch my eye to purchase the app, a week later. After I purchased the app, I went through the app, I can import videos, though, after I had imported audio either from camera roll, or to “skip audio”, a screen loads with the thumbnails of my videos, in a photo loop, in this square box, and in the middle the word “cancel” displays there, and it does nothing else for a long time. I remember watching the tutorial on YouTube and it was supposed to display “rendering” though that didn’t happen. Nothing was happening. So, I went done some research even tried to reach out to you guys, about the issue though I messaged a wrong email. I thought that maybe this app takes alot of Ram to use, or that I need a stronger device, or that I need to restart it. Possibly install a latest software update from the App Store on my computer using my device via USB. The device I use and own is a iPhone 6s, if you guys know anything about this. I’ll wait for an update until the bugs are fixed. If you guys know anything that I would need required for using this app, let me know. My storage is great and it’s been frustrating getting the app to work for many days since I purchased it, though, I have high hopes this app will last a lifetime, thank you, you have created a masterpiece I’ve once been seeking.
