I notice that the new keyboard have lag when you type or don’t register sometimes and sometimes the space bar have double input. I’m using an iphone 13 pro max. I had it set to my widgets and just noticed my Mando alphabet is now just English translating to English I like the other Star Wars languages but as a member of the MMCC I used this so much for the club and charity! Replace with cantina to. More Star Wars languages are great but don’t remove what is already there. I hope you guys bring back the Mando language soon if you can, I get it if you have legal restrictions but that was really why I downloaded this app in the first place. **Developer response:** Edit: Sorry for the late response RyukyuRaptor, but Apple took a while to approve the app. Not only did I readd Mando’a, but I made it better and not cut off. The decision to remove Mando'a was indeed made due to the reasons you mentioned, as well as an issue with the font files themselves being bugged and getting cut off from the top. However, hearing how important this feature is to you and potentially others motivates me to re-evaluate it. The only thing that’s kept me from giving a full 5 is that there isn’t an option to learn the Sith language and script. Warm regards, Abubakr Elmallah ### 4/5 — amazing app, with a few issues *2025-03-09* I love this app, but there are a few things that I don't really like about it. you're able to set for example Aurebesh as your keyboard that you can also use in other apps, however, I can select this keyboard, but I cannot switch between this one and others. for example for emojis, I always have to remove this keyboard, tipe the emoji i want and then add it again, which is really annoying. another thing is that if I want to erase the last for example letter, it sometimes removes the last two ones and if you don't realize it at first, it's really annoynig. other than that the app is grrat! **Developer response:** Hi MC Mia, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for sharing your feedback! Additionally, I’ve improved the delete key behavior to prevent accidental deletions and make it feel more natural when erasing text. I was sad, having lost motivation I stopped doing aurebesh posts for a long time. Then I came across a post made by a Redditor (I forgot what it was) and we ended up chatting, he told me about the app he was making, and it was this app. I HAD MET TEH CREATOR OF THIS APP. I was star struck for someone who hadn’t become a celebrity yet. I tried this app in its early days and it’s been an amazing journey seeing how it’s improved since.. Just to clarify, Aurebesh (and other scripts) in the app is technically just an English font style (underneath it’s still regular English letters), and unfortunately, iOS doesn’t support using custom fonts across apps. Because of that, the system reverts the text back to normal English for consistency and security reasons. It’s definitely something I wish I could enable if Apple ever changes their font handling system! Also, I wanted to let you know I’m hoping to add a test/exam feature soon! It’ll help users (such as myself!) quiz themselves on the letters and memorize the alphabet more easily, especially for amazing learners like you who are self-teaching with so much passion. Based on your review, I recently released an update (Version 3.5.4) that reverts the keyboard back to what it originally was and I introduced another keyboard option. The default keyboard now has a clean design with only a white accent color and basic Aurebesh just like it was before, while the custom keyboard retains the additional buttons for color changes and script switching. This way, you can choose the experience that works best for you! I spent a lot of time trying to make the keyboard sync dynamically with the app’s settings, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to make it update in real-time. While I can sync it once, updating it automatically remains a challenge. I hope this update resolves your concern, and I’d really appreciate it if you could reconsider your review now that the previous keyboard layout is back as an option!
