### 2/5 — Good Idea but Needs Work

My friend requested me to join and be his Wingman. When I try to message somebody it kicks me directly to messages. When I’m messaging my friend, I can’t see what I’m typing. Also add filter to search for people interested in his area. We are in different states. For now it’s a 2 star because I can’t do anything with the app yet. I’ll review this later and will update rating as needed.

Regarding the filter, the matches for the dater should be based on their location, not the wingman's location, that being said, we're just getting out of beta and don't have critical mass yet so it could be there aren't matches near them. NO MEMBERS horrible app worst idea not good does not work

**Developer response:** Hi Scott. We're just getting out of beta and don't have critical mass. We mention that at the end of your field, but you might not have gotten to the screen. Sorry for not meeting your expectations. We do however believe in the idea of letting friends play wingman, and having the first conversation be wingman-to-wingman. Wingmen help weed out the wrongs, add authenticity and hopefully make the experience more fun. We hope people like you will give us a chance while we get more users. I was really excited about this app until it forced me to add my weight to move on. This already seemed like a bad thing, but then when checking out the minimum and maximum it went from 100-250lbs only. That cuts out so many people! You also have to set a weight preference for matches which seems disgusting. Look at someone’s pictures and see if you like them - don’t base everything off of that number.

Right after the “tap on the gear to change your settings message, it crashes. Without fail. Id be happy to re-rate the app once it becomes useable again

I’m excited about this app. It’s a really good idea and my friend and I couldn’t have found it at a better time. Some advertising and bringing new people in would be really helpful because all the perspectives for my friend live in completely different states and I have yet to see one person that lives in the same state as us. So far this app is on the right track it just needs to hype up the popularity.

My friends and I have talked about this idea for a “dating app” and happy one has come along.  Although, the app is very young and still in the beginning stages, I have had issues addressed and hope this DMF app is better then Tinder!

This is a worthless app. Trying to find someone to date my cousin and it looks like maybe you would only have a use for this if other people in your contacts are already using it. I wouldn’t know because it won’t let me move forward until I “invite” others to join which is pointless because my only single friend is my cousin. Deleting.

The app keeps crashing, especially when I attempt to view a profile. Gotta get those bugs fixed quickly.
