Good to have as an APP on the iPad for when one is in a meeting and needs to correctly calculate a date forward or backward. ### 4/5 — Simple as I need it *2019-11-06* Nice Clean App. app sticks to the basic calcs and has a large display that is uncluttered and simple enough so a concentration-challenged person like me can use it during meetings. I rated 4 instead of 5 for two reasons 1. In the wheels the year is easy to change by mistake which I don’t find easy to notice. (This can have significant effects and go un-noticed when calculating out a certain number of weeks.) 2. It would be convenient if day of week were included in the date wheels (happily it is in the results). I know this sounds like more clutter but not having it there causes me extra steps. ### 4/5 — Not for iPad *2019-02-04* The app it self is a huge help at work. When explaining to my clients their time window it is a life saver. My only issue with the app is that it cannot be viewed landscape. I’m not not crazy about using my smart phone over living a real life... however, this app is used all the time in my world; strategic project management and execution. While I am a “tactile guy”, my date wheel is always in my pocket with this app. Easily worth the investment in exchange for the value received. ### 5/5 — L-O-V-E this app!!!!!! *2017-11-17, version 1.9.0* This app comes in VERY handy, much more often than one would expect! Predicting when an “every 28 days” event is coming up is quite handy ;-) And, when one needs to know the number of days since a medication was last taken, voila! :-) Have a certain number of days owed off of work, in lieu of overtime, and your job is a 7-day-a-week job? Voila! ### 4/5 — Pretty good app *2017-03-07* I use this app daily for work. My job requires me to calculate specific time points based on a starting date (3, 6, 28 mos out). I like that I can save each time point separately. What I would like to see is a way to use the same start date without having to put it into each of my saved time points. I would also like to see +\- (+ 2wks or - 2 wks from start date) if that's possible. Best and most useful purchased app. ### 4/5 — Be careful *2016-07-28* If you depend on an app that clearly shows accurate due dates, be careful with this app by ensuring you have the "include end date" properly set in settings. Many people don't include the beginning date, but do include the end date. (e.g. 3 days from July 3 is July 6, right? Not if you don't have the end date set correctly in this program.) This program automatically includes the beginning date and let's you set whether to include the end date. Turning end date on in the above example gives you July 5. It’s just input table, there is no wheel. I had an app on my old phone with the two wheels you could spin and it was excellent. Just wasted $5!!! ### 1/5 — 10 years equals 121.3 months? *2017-11-04, version 1.9.0* The company name “creative algorithms” is appropriate. It lets you use months, weeks, days for its measurement. But it appears to only use days to calculate. When I use dates to go for exactly 10 years measured by months, from the first day of one month to the 31st of the 120th month, the calculation shows me at 121.3 months. I don’t know if they’re still updating this app but it’s basically useless unless you’re calculating days apparently. RESPONSE: Creative Algorithms responded to me. They state that they indicate their interpretation of “months” is financial months. I’ll leave that to you to evaluate. It wasn’t that clear to me as of 11/2017. ### 1/5 — Useless *2016-07-05* I wish I hadnt bought it ### 1/5 — Does NOT calculate Months Properly *2014-12-16, version 1.7.0* I loved this tool until I found a major problem with the way the tool calculates months: 11/14/16 - 11/24/20 1472 days 4.032877 years 48.39452 months Plug these dates into the calculator and 49.06667 months are calculated!!! (This is because the tool is using 30 days/month calculation INSTEAD of the true 30.41667 days/mo over 12 months). I would give this tool 5 stars if there was not this algorithm issue. In my nature of work I need exact durations so sadly I cannot use it. ### 1/5 — Hope not correct *2014-11-25, version 1.7.0* I add to August 7,2014 6 Months, the result which I got is Feb 3 ,2015. While the correct calculations is Feb 7, 2015.by using other two Apps, could you clarify this. ### 1/5 — No iOS Calendar integration *2011-07-09* I asked them to include iOS calendar integration so I don't have to exit the app, go into the standard calendar app and re-enter the information. Instead of a practical upgrade I got lipstick on a pig. ### 2/5 — Retirement Date Calculation? *2013-07-27, version 1.6.0* I primarily bought the app to calculate the dates for my garden harvest. Once I had the app, I tried a sample calculation for my retirement date... When the results were off I tried the web version. I input my November 2007 start date, 360 months, the results were both June of 2037. Just ball parking the disparity, I'm guessing the month value is hard coded at 30 days. Dort war sie zeitgemäss gestaltet und (zumindest am Anfang, in der Version die ich benutzt habe) kostenlos. Die Umsetzung auf dem iPhone hingegen macht zwar was sie soll, sie ist aber: 1. Graphisch schlecht umgesetzt. Was soll der "farbige Palm-Gedächtnis-Look"? 2. Gnadenlos überteuert für das, was es bietet. Und ich bin gerne bereit für Leistung auch Geld zu bezahlen... ------------------------------------------- I used to use this app on the Palm, years ago. It was good and useful and had a decent look back then. But on the iPhone: 1. The oldfashioned look of the Palm software is not appropriate any more. 2. The app is overprized. And I'm not a person who wants a free luch. I'm willing to pay for functionality. ### 2/5 — Bugs *2009-11-27* ... is it not possible to save actions!! I can see the saved ones but can't call them back. Also I miss e.mail support for sending data to my account and it would be nice to see in the line of the saved the days for comparison. Also I miss a clock, remembering deadlines end. The price for such a simple thing is toooooo high.
