Now that I finally have proven that I'm old, I can't get past the screen that asked your name, age, and what you're looking for. It just freezes. They would refuse to get off the app which leads me to believe that these are people who are either being paid to get you to stay buying credits on the app.. They don’t delete your information at all. They maintain it so it looks like they have people available when it is all A.I. I’ve wasted lot of coins and it’s not working like before. What changed? Is there a way for me to use the app so I can receive messages the way I used to receive them again. I made a purchase and instantly asked for a refund. The rep told me I could get one and she would remove the (overpriced) credits. Then they didn’t give me a full refund. They said I used credits they were supposed to remove. First of all you pay for a bundle.. so you subscribe to their services.. but you still have to pay for everything. Their credit system is highly overpriced. Sure the people are decent and you get a lot of attention. But the amount you have to pay for the services you already pay a monthly subscription to is outrageous. The “human” representative (Joan I’m talking to you) began using automated responses to avoid actually speaking to me. Then told me she would end the chat because she was tired of trying to help me! SCAM! ### 3/5 — Not sure AI *2026-06-21, version 8.766.0* The program sucks you in and and when you need help, there’s no one to help you understand this program. You can’t talk to anybody, you can’t text or chat without it costing you dollars for credits so you can communicate with people who interest you. The voice calls sound like AI. Every minute they want more money to continue communicating with somebody— it starts adding up to hundreds of dollars. Support doesn’t seem to exist. No one calls you back and no one’s there when you call. ### 1/5 — Too Many Red Flags *2026-06-21, version 8.766.0* I joined Date My Age hoping to meet real people, but my experience was disappointing. Many of the conversations felt extremely structured and unnatural, almost as if I was speaking to scripted responses rather than genuine people. The replies came very quickly and often followed the same pattern of questions, which made the interactions feel inauthentic. What concerned me most was that when I shared my WhatsApp number with two different profiles, I received the exact same response from both accounts: that it was "too early" to exchange numbers and that we should continue talking on the platform. Receiving identical responses from different people felt very strange. Shortly afterward, I was unable to continue the conversations without purchasing additional credits. This left me feeling that the platform is designed to keep users paying rather than helping them make genuine connections. I cannot say whether the profiles are real or not, but based on my experience, many interactions felt artificial and heavily restricted by the platform's credit system.
