## What is Dave Saves Dinner?

DSD — Dave Saves Dinner

Tell Dave what's in your fridge and he'll tell you what to cook.

DSD is the community cookbook that starts with your ingredients, not a shopping list. Search by what you actually have, discover recipes you can make right now, and join a community of home cooks sharing real food from real kitchens.

HOW IT WORKS

Open the Search tab and tell Dave what's in your fridge. DSD instantly finds recipes you can make with exactly what you have — and shows you what you're almost able to make with just one extra ingredient.

No more staring at the fridge wondering what to cook. No more letting food go to waste.

COMMUNITY COOKBOOK

Every recipe on DSD was uploaded by a real person from their own kitchen. Not a test kitchen. Not a food stylist. Real home cooks sharing the dishes they actually make for their families and friends.

When you upload a recipe, it becomes part of the world's largest community cookbook — making DSD smarter and more useful for everyone.

BUILD YOUR RECIPE WITH AI

Use Dave's recipe builder to create your own recipes. Add a photo, pick your ingredients, tell Dave how you cooked each one, and add your personal touches. Dave writes it up for you — in your style, with your methods.

SHARE YOUR RECIPES

Upload your own recipes and share them with the DSD community. Watch other cooks make your dish, see their photos, and build your cooking legacy.

LOG YOUR COOKS

Made a recipe? Log it as a cook post with a photo and rating. See how other people have made the same dish. Build your cooking history and track everything you've made.

FOLLOW FRIENDS & FAMILY

Follow the people you cook with. See what they're making in your Activity feed, discover their favourite recipes, and share your own cooking journey.

FIGHT FOOD WASTE

The average UK household wastes £730 of food every year. DSD exists to change that — one recipe at a time. Every time you cook from your fridge instead of the bin, you're saving money and reducing waste.

DSD is free to download and use. No ads. Just food.
