I liked this game because it's sweet and cute (without being sugary or girly).  I felt safe playing it.  Sometimes spooky or creepy games are fun, but not always.  If you want something to play just before bed or when you're feeling down, and you don't want zombies and ghosts and sudden flashes, this is the game.

I enjoyed it. The swipe to turn feature is a good one and there is a definite sense of being in the setting. It's not ever so challenging but hints are available that are not simple walk through. Excellent for free!

Good thing it was free. Visuals are crude. You can only turn 180 degrees, and the graphics that depict turning are confusing to the eye, and begin to make you nauseous after a short while. Entering a new space is disorienting because the game often faces you in a different direction than that which you entered. It was so unpleasant that I deleted it after only about ten minutes of play, if it was even that long.

If you're new to point-and-click and puzzle games, then this is an ok intro to them, for the price.

If you regularly play these types of games however, you won't get much out of this. I finished this game in 30 minutes. And wasn't left wanting more. Drawings aren't very attractive and story line is almost non-existent. I see there is a sequel but this doesn't encourage me to try it.

I only paid 99¢ but wish I'd saved the buck towards something else. Like a bag of chips. Would have been more satisfying.

Extrêmement pénible car graphisme "à l'ancienne" où l'on tourne et retourne dans une pièce sans jamais être "dans le bon sens". Ça fait perdre énormément de temps. Impression d'être dans un jeu des années 80 (et même à cette époque, Myst était mieux fichu). Bon, à part ça, bon jeu d'enigmes

The graphics are nice but the controls are primitive at best. No panning or moving. You can jump to a room, then hit the circle arrow icon to see the other half of the room. I finished it in about 30 min without any helps. Pretty basic, I guess that was why it was free.

OK, graphics are a bit basic, gameplay is a tad linear and there are no fancy tools such as a camera to record images for later reference, but it is free so get over it!
Couple of thing could be improved though. Maybe just me, but i found that i kept getting disorientated with the swipe system. Also, and many such games suffer this, the inventory takes up too much of the screen. Can you not make it a bit smaller?

This game is pretty short (I played in less then an hour), but it’s fun and worth the very low price.  I appreciate the creative interface and the challenge of carefully navigating.  Davey’s Mystery is worth exploring...!

It’s a nice little point and click adventure, and quite well put together.
Puzzles are not the hardest to solve but enough to keep your interest.
This is totally free and requires no money for hints ( not that your need any hints ) so you have nothing to lose by giving it a try .

The game has a part 2 so i loaded and played that too , it cost 99p but honestly it’s worth it for the game play you get . 
Seasoned player of this type of game would complete it in a hour or so but it not a disappointment at the end .

This game and the sequel Daveys 2 are a very enjoyable and relaxing way to while away the day.  Here’s hoping Daveys 3 or something similar is in the pipe work.
