It worked SO well, never crashed, never had issues. That is until AI features arrived. This is to be said for the desktop and iPad version of the app. The last 3 builds have been riddled with bugs, which make the editing process superbly painful and I really am losing faith in the software, due to the addition of AI features. The errors surfaced as soon as DR 19, 20 and 21 introduced the mass AI features set, and to be honest I hate to leave a bad review, but seriously guys you are ruining this software something silly!! PLEASE please sort these bugs out :( ### 2/5 — Currently bugged *2026-08-08, version 21.0.4* Currently unable to render projects, regardless of render settings the app freezes. So I offloaded 120gb of stored data (csp is quite the hog sometimes) only to try an edit a video and have it crash again! It feels like nearly identical with the one I am used to on MacBooks, but allows mobility with this iPad version. There is only one issue, which is when I use it on some of the oldest compatible devices, such as my iPad Air 3rd generation. It will crash because of out of memory, even if on 1080p, when scrubbing timelines or rendering. The highest i can make to work is 720p.
