### 3/5 — Update Needed

*2025-07-08, version 1.54*

Updates needed more often! Looked up a medication today and it wasn’t listed! Had to use Google instead!

### 4/5 — Medication guide for nurses

*2025-03-20, version 1.54*

Love the design and literary contrast but who’s it had more features like a comparability share for example

### 5/5 — Get it! You’ll be glad you did!

*2024-09-29, version 1.51*

I love it! I’m a nursing student and I love being able to access my drug guide on my phone or tablet. It makes learning so much easier and I don’t have to worry about dragging a heavy book to clinical or labs. It’s great!

### 5/5 — Handy on the go for Nurses

*2024-08-03, version 1.49*

Love this app! So many things to know in nursing and this helps stay up to date with common medications you need to know as a nurse. Love the favorites feature so you can refer back to the medications conveniently and not carry around a book. Its fast and has medication pronunciation for medications that aren't as common.

### 5/5 — Nurse

*2024-08-03, version 1.49*

I’ve used this app for 10 years. Very helpful in a professional setting. I’m glad I have it

### 5/5 — Very useful and helpful

*2024-06-29, version 1.48*

This app is very useful for both students and professionals in the medical fields.

### 5/5 — The first "go-to"

*2024-05-03, version 1.46*

Reliable, has enough to get started. That is usually all that's needed. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Great for nursing school!

*2024-04-01, version 1.45*

I’ve used this while in nursing school and I absolutely love it. So handy to have and look up meds.

### 5/5 — Overall Great App!

*2024-03-15, version 1.45*

Pretty expensive … but has all medications and super informative! Also helpful for nursing students when completing drugs cards :)

### 5/5 — Love this!

*2024-03-11, version 1.45*

I absolutely love this app! I’m in nursing school and having all the meds and updated meds right on my phone is super helpful. I have used this for class and in clinical. It gives so much information! I’m keeping this even when I become a nurse because it’s a great resource!

### 5/5 — Great for nursing students!

*2024-02-14, version 1.45*

This app is great for nursing students! It’s a must have even if it’s not recommended by your nursing program. I have found it extremely beneficial to have right in my pocket at clinical, completing homework, and hopefully one day accepting a RN position as a new grad. All adverse reactions that are life threatening are in red and capitalized, all adverse reactions that are common with a certain drug are underlined. It has been a great tool for my success, highly recommended!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Used for years, no longer

*2025-11-07, version 1.58*

Used to love the fact that you could easily track all your medications and various drug interactions, however the ease of use is now gone and the drug interactions don’t work at all. Makes it kind of useless.

### 1/5 — Unable to Use After Paying

*2025-10-12, version 1.56*

I renewed my subscription after the trial and it still won't let me search meds on the app! I need this to work for nursing school.

### 1/5 — Poor business practices

*2025-04-09, version 1.54*

This app was useful as a student, but I now get a superior drug guide for free through my workplace. However, there is no way to cancel this subscription. Please beware that if you subscribe to this app you are locked in for life. Better off with the hard copy of the book

### 1/5 — A New Condition

*2025-03-25, version 1.54*

I purchased the book but I also have to buy the book again to view it online. They need a pill for this illness.

### 1/5 — Money, hungry app

*2025-02-14, version 1.54*

You purchase the app and continues to make you purchase more and more.

### 1/5 — Only allows 1 I pad download

*2025-02-11, version 1.54*

So in today's work only a single tablet download is crazy. I don't need it on my phone- I need it on 2 tablets. Can I do that? No… does it point that out before you waste your money? No.

### 1/5 — No option to cancel membership

*2024-10-11, version 1.52*

I was looking up a way to cancel my free trial since I already have the physical textbook. Even after browsing around their website, browsing around the app, and searching up a guide to cancel it, there was nothing. Utimately, I had to pay another ~60 dollars CAD for this. It’s useful, but I prefer the physical textbook. It’s unfortunate that even after looking it up I can’t cancel it.

### 1/5 — Paid and does not work

*2024-09-20, version 1.51*

Paid subscription and not even Tylenol drug information pulls up.

### 1/5 — Review

*2024-08-29, version 1.51*

Terrible trial with book no access to the medications

### 1/5 — Review

*2023-10-15, version 1.43*

A lot of new meds or meds being approved or removed from market aren’t adequate

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Guide!

*2026-07-02, version 1.62*

I remember when these guides were in a ginormous textbook. This guide is convenient and has colorful pix.
The best part is the Pronunciation Guide! With the glut of medications, it great to hear the precise pronunciation. The Calculator section is very handy too.

### 5/5 — Drug Guide

*2026-05-29, version 1.61*

I have Davis’s Drug Guide for years, student, Paramedic and Hospital as well as family.
The updates are good!

### 5/5 — RN

### 5/5 — Great Clinical Resource

*2025-10-26, version 1.57*

Love this app! So easy to use. I use it for everything.

### 5/5 — MIATA goog sel

*2025-09-16, version 1.54*

Good

### 5/5 — Fast and Easy

*2025-07-09, version 1.54*

Davis drug guide is fast and easy to use. It is accurate and gives a complete explanation of the medication.

### 5/5 — Awesome Drug Reference for Nurses

*2025-01-14, version 1.52*

I literally use my Davis Drug Guide everyday at work. The hospital I work at is small, so we (the nurses) mix all the medications that don’t come premixed. This app lists how to reconstitute and dilute the medication. There have been very few times I haven’t been able to find how to prepare a medication on this app. This app is also very helpful for checking IV compatibility between different medications. It lists the compatible meds and the incompatible meds for each drug. The list of side effects and adverse reactions is very helpful as well. Another of my favorite things on the app is the wide range of calculators on the app. There have been many times a coworker and I are calculation infusion rates for critical meds and I often use the calculators on this app to double check our math. I recommend this app all the time to my coworkers.

### 5/5 — Best med app!

*2024-11-08, version 1.52*

This app is incredible! It is designed where you don’t even need Internet or Wi-Fi so if you’re stuck in a med room and have to google something, you can always have your answer at hand. You can make notes which is great.

After my shifts, I use the recent search list to review. I’ve looked up to feel more comfortable with them for next shift.
