## What is DAW?

DAW: An Idle Adventure into a Dark Ages World.
Built around two things: time that passes while you are gone, and duels that are decided by reading the person on the other side.
Send your character to the mine, the forest, the plains or the lake and let them work. Travel takes real minutes across a world map. Lessons at the University take time too. None of it needs you to sit and watch. The server keeps running your actions and hands you the result when you return.
Then comes the part that does need you.
REAL OPPONENTS, MATCHED IN A MINUTE
Ask for a match and the server gathers everyone of your level searching at the same time, then splits them into two teams. You get one minute per move, and the round resolves the moment your target moves against you. If too few people are searching, bots fill the empty slots, so you never sit in a queue waiting for a fight to start.
DUELS DECIDED BY GUESSWORK, NOT STATS
Every round you choose where to strike (head, torso, belly or legs) and where to defend, up to two zones at once. Guess right and you break their guard. Guess wrong and you eat the hit. Spells, summoned beasts and elixirs each cost you the attack, so every round is a real decision, not a rotation.
THREE RACES, THREE COMPANIONS
Play as Human, Elf or Orc, each with their own bound creature: a dog, a hawk or a bear that fights at your side when you call it.
A WORLD WITH PLACES THAT MATTER
Ten locations, each with a purpose. Buy elixirs at the Apothecary, learn spells at the University, eat at the Tavern, rent a room at the Inn to recover twice as fast, sell what you gathered at the Market Square. You cannot do everything everywhere. You have to go there.
FOUR PROFESSIONS, TWENTY RESOURCES
Miner, Forester, Gatherer, Fisher. Each levels on its own and unlocks rarer finds, from coal and dandelion up to gold and belladonna. Gathering is also where the wild things are: a stone golem, a wolf, a boar or something in the swamp may interrupt your work, and you will have to fight it.
FATIGUE IS THE REAL CURRENCY
Everything tires you. Rest, eat, drink a Drop of Rest, or pay for a room. Manage it badly and the day ends early.
UP TO THREE CHARACTERS
Each with their own gold, inventory, professions and progress. Run a fighter, a miner and an experiment side by side.

NEW : Local notifications: start a harvest, a lesson or a journey, close the
app, and your phone tells you the moment it is done. You choose what to be
notified about, in Settings.
NEW : Six counterplay spells at the University: Purify an ally of curses,
Dispel enemy blessings, Silence a caster, Banish or Disarm a summoned beast,
or Burn an enemy's mana. Every spell now shows a real description before you
spend gold on it.
NEW : Smarter opponents: enemies now cast spells and summon their own beasts.
Watch out for the magic defense zone.
NEW : Come back to your rewards: whatever finished while you were away is
waiting on screen when you return - including the monster that ambushed your
harvest, ready to fight when you are.
IMPROVED - Finding a match: a clear 60-second countdown, and the match always
starts : against a real player who joins, or against a bot if no one does.
IMPROVED - Combat fairness: blocking can now be broken through Strength and
Luck, no build is ever fully immune or fully certain, and all four gathering
professions reward equally.
IMPROVED : Your profession screen now shows your success chance at the current
and next level.
FIXED : Roots now truly block the target's next move, Disarm never makes a
beast stronger, and team fights resolve instantly against bot opponents.
Also new: a Reduce Motion option in Settings.
