It’s a great app the only problem is that there’s honestly none, really just not as good as competitors if there are any

### 5/5 — Other UGA sports

*2024-12-15, version 5.03.170061197*

The coverage, lack of scores and updates of anything besides football is really lacking. I hit the scores icon and then basketball and it goes to April 1, 2024.

Weak in my opinion.

### 5/5 — Love Dawg Nation….

*2024-06-24, version 5.03.170061197*

Dawg Nation has and continues to be my go to source for any and all sporting news for the university of Georgia. Love their podcast and there podcast announcers.

### 5/5 — Great Place for UGA Coverage

*2024-06-10*

Dawgnation does a great job covering Georgia Bulldog football. It is such a professional site. The Dawgnation Daily podcast hosted by Brandon Adams is something I look forward to every day. He is such a talented host and they have great guests like John Stinchcomb, Terence Edwards, and Jake Fromm every week and others periodically. The beat writers are top notch. You get a load of knowledge from Mike Griffith and Connor Riley. And Jeff Sentell give you the inside scoop on recruiting. I highly recommend this site. There are a lot of great sites that cover Georgia Football but Dawgnation is the top one. It’s a must have for Bulldog fans.
Go Dawgs!

### 5/5 — Connecticut Dawg

*2024-05-21, version 5.03.170061197*

Been a UGA fan living in New England since 1980. I’ve used this app for years for all my Georgia football news.

### 5/5 — DawgNation

It is the most informative college football 🏈 show out there today…that showcases the Dawgs! All of their comments our Top Notch! I probably spend three hours reading and listening to everything they have available.

### 5/5 — UGA FOOTBALL

*2024-02-06, version 5.03.170061197*

I’m a UGA fan who watches everything the DAWGS do!!! I attended UGA in 1966, and 1967. My money for tuition ran out so I joined the Army in 1968/69, and volunteer to go to Vietnam, and I did after going to officer training and became first Lieutenant.
I then used the GI bill to finalize my education at Berry College in Georgia, but I will always be a DAWG!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

### 5/5 — Love DawgNation

*2024-02-04, version 5.03.170061197*

The whole DawgNation crew has been spot on from the beginning. Keep up the great work.

Only issue is some of the advertisers on the app are questionable.

Go Dawgs

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Content

*2026-05-07, version 5.03.170061197*

Way overly positive since we all know there is a long time left before the season starts. I’m glad Kirby tamps down the rat poison.

### 1/5 — DawgNation is the AJC

*2023-06-30, version 4.37.190060321*

The AJC hates UGA football. They’ve been posting sensationalized articles and headlines attempting to tarnish Georgia’s image. DawgNation has been more supportive, but they are the same overall organization. If you support DawgNation, you support the AJC. It’s time we stop patronizing DawgNation until the AJC decides to start reporting real news again instead of headlines that give an impression rather than providing facts.

### 1/5 — The new DawgNation mobile app is not user friendly

*2020-08-07*

Love Love Love Dawg Nation but the new mobile app typically forces users to scroll down and dig for the most recent articles, and, on top of that, it doesn’t show a visible date on the articles. The content is organized by individual author/their column and not by how recent the content was published. This is a mistake. When we open the app we see the same top-of-page article for several days instead of the site’s most recent article (which most of the time we have to dig for). This is the opposite of the Dawg Nation website and of the old app. Users simply want to quickly check the app for new news/developments while standing in line or while watching their kids at a playground, and the idea of digging for undated new content requires more work than competitor UGA sites. I highly recommend reordering content in the style of the old app and the current desktop site. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT WORK AND GO DAWGS! This is a simple fix.

### 1/5 — New App Design = Fail

*2020-08-04*

I’m a daily reader of DawgNation, but since the redesign I’ve been going to my phone’s web browser instead of the app.

Aesthetically the app design fine, but the new app page no longer presents the newest items at the top. It’s confusing to navigate the various sections down the page to determine which articles are new and which older.

This is a basic programming premise - readers should be able to immediately and intuitively recognize the freshest content when they open the app, but that is impossible on the new app. That’s a fail.

### 2/5 — Clunky

*2024-02-02, version 5.03.170061197*

It doesn’t load well, especially on a laptop Accessing some of the content is difficult

### 2/5 — Review

*2023-06-19, version 4.37.190060321*

Doesn’t open on iPhone

### 2/5 — What happened to the app

*2020-09-19*

I love the dawgs above all issues but what happened to the app? It is way to busy now
What was wrong with listing the stories as they came out ? Plus the main page stays the same for a week or so. You have to do extra steps to see the latest news having a separate section for recruiting is great but I want to be able to see the latest as soon as I open the app. I’m just saying I liked the old format

### 3/5 — Awesome app, but doesn’t work at the moment

*2023-01-20*

I’ve used this app over the years, though it’s not allowing to click anything on the screen with my IPhone 14 Max. Can’t get past the opening notify me page even after a delete and redownload. Feels as if the resolution to where the clickBox should be is off. Will change review upon fix!

**Developer response:** Can you please reach out to me directly at matt.sabath@ajc.com. I took a look at the app on an iphone 14 pro max and was not seeing any issues. I have captured screen shots and would like to send them to you so I can see where you are seeing issues. After you see the notify me button down at the bottom you would then see a message box in the middle of the screen asking if you would like the app to send you notifications.

### 3/5 — DawgNation review

*2022-01-30, version 4.35.720059188*

Generally, DawgNation has interesting and timely content. However, far too many many writing deficiencies such as run-on sentences, poor sentence and paragraph structure, mis-spelled words and grammatical errors.

I’m a UGA Grady School of Journalism grad…hire me as article editor.

Go Dawgs!

### 3/5 — New update needs improvement

*2020-09-15, version 4.35.470055618*

You can’t seem to access the Forum, and the lead articles compared to the website seem to lag behind. Old app seemed better.
