While I do love the UI of this app, I can’t really see myself paying a subscription for this app, considering it hasn’t been updated with new features in 7 months (as of this review) so what would I be paying for monthly/yearly if it’s just a minimalistic coat of paint on something the basic calendar app can pretty much do? If this app starts getting more frequent support, i’d gladly be willing to pay for it yearly. ### 3/5 — Too expensive for using basic calendar sync functions. *2025-12-25, version 3.0.4* This is the best example of a minimal design aesthetic. Reviews don’t really focus on file sizes but it’s amazing how this app managed to keep itself at ~10MB. My biggest gripe with this app has been it’s subscription model. A basic sync option for only one account (like Woven) or with restricted editing (like Timepage) seems like a more reasonable option than a direct subscription fee for a service that’s otherwise free to use in the first place. That being said, this app has been a pleasure to use and is my favourite app on iOS, ever. ### 5/5 — Bugs *2025-12-25, version 3.0.4* It's a very cool app! Suggestions for improvement: there is not enough Russian, there is not enough function to delete several tasks at the same time, or a basket where you can drop all tasks. I also found that the list of tasks changes randomly in the application itself and I have to rearrange them several times in the right order. I deleted it, losing everything, reinstalled it, and after a few months it did the exact same thing once again. It was my favorite app but I can’t reach the developers. Download it!🤍 ### 5/5 — love dawn *2026-06-05, version 3.0.4* love the looks and the simple function of this app - however would like to request an option to view events only in a certain week or month. also a button to quickly jump back to the present date would be quite helpful as sometimes i find myself scrolling so far into future and i have to re-open the app to get back! other than that i adore dawn 💕 ### 5/5 — AMAZING but… *2026-05-28, version 3.0.4* THIS IS THE REVIEW THAT WILL HELP YOU i downloaded Dawn years ago as a SIMPLR CALANDER APP and its great. not only is there NEVER A SINGLE AD it’s so simple and straightforward i love it. there’s 3 screens u can swipe between, the first screen shows just today and whatever tasks u have to get done. u can click DONE next to them and it’ll hide it from svreen one. svreen 2 shows the week, what tasks u hsge to complete this week and svreen 3 shows what days ur busy in a month. u can scroll to past weeks and months it’s so simple. when creating a reminder u type in the name and time u want to be reminded. u can also add additional notes and an extra reminder that it’s upcoming if u want. there’s a lot i could type about this simple app but what more do u need to download when it’s free and no ads? u can also add it to ur home screen to see tasks it’s so great 5 stars ### 5/5 — Still my favourite *2026-04-15, version 3.0.4* A minimal calendar that I love. It gives me my day’s events/tasks in a simple view and separates my calendars into spaces for easy viewing. Only thing I would love is to see events in the monthly view. Very few calendar apps have this such as google calendar.
