You will be starved for resources really quick unless you’re buying packs that are so overpriced it’s laughable. The daily pack buy-all is $10! The gold cost just to level up heroes and all other development features is so exorbitant that you’ll constantly deplete your stores. The game gives you so little diamonds that you’ll be broke daily without topping up. The art and theme is cute but they literally squeeze you out of everything unless you pay up big. There are better games out there that are more generous and less crooked. I’m one that will pay to play if they’re not greedy. This is the exact same format as a couple One Piece games I’ve played that operate the same way.
