## What is Dawnmates?

Wake up early with your friends, not by yourself.

Dawnmates is a wake-up challenge you share with a small crew. Everyone sets their own wake time. Your alarm rings on your own phone, and when you're up, you check in so your friends can see.

THE CREW HORIZON
Check in and your face rises on a shared horizon. Anyone still asleep sits just below the line. It's a picture of the morning, not a leaderboard: nobody is ranked and nobody is shamed.

AN ALARM WITH BACKUPS AND A CREW
Your alarm is set on your own iPhone and keeps working without a connection. A few backup reminders follow it, a few minutes apart, and they stop the moment you check in. Haven't checked in yet? Your crew can send you a kind nudge.
No app can promise to wake you. A phone on silent, a Focus or a low battery can get in the way. So Dawnmates gives you three things working for you: the alarm, the backups and your crew.

SET IT WITH THE SUN
Drag the sun along the dial to pick your wake time. Hold to check in, snooze when you need five more minutes, and mark days off that count as rest, not as misses. Nudges are limited to one per person per day, and quiet hours keep your crew's messages out of your night.

SEE WHO'S UP AT A GLANCE
Widgets and the Apple Watch app show who's up without opening anything. Your week strip shows the days you were up, the days you slept in and your days off, and never a red cross. On Sunday, one card shows how the crew's week went.

FREE, AND PLUS FOR MORE ROOM
Free: one crew of up to 4 friends. Your alarm and its backup reminders are always free and never locked.
Dawnmates Plus: more crews, crews of up to 8, your own nudge lines, two Plus scenes, every week of your crew's history with a recap for each month, extra widget and Watch styles, and a free pick from the shop every month that's yours to keep.
Plus costs $0.99 a week, $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
Morning scenes that change your crew's sky everywhere you see it, alarm sound packs you can hear before you buy, things to wear on your face, and nudge and sticker packs are separate, and always optional. Each one is yours to keep.
A crew that's full can also grow to 8 with a one-time Crew Pass, no subscription.

FRIENDS NEVER PAY
Invite your crew with a link or a six-letter code. Anyone you invite joins free, with no sign-in and no paywall.

YOUR DATA
No ads. Your crew sees your name, your face, your wake time and whether you're up. They never see where you are. Your wake times, crew and purchases are saved so they're there on any phone you use. You can delete your account in one tap from Settings.

Needs iOS 26 or later.

Tomorrow morning goes better with company.

Weekly, monthly and yearly Plus plans renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-24

A few fixes for calmer mornings:

• Improved account recovery when signing in with Apple.
• Fixed saving custom quiet hours so changing an alarm won't replace your chosen hours.
• Improved handling when opening the app or returning from the background.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-22

Answer your crew without opening the app:

• A nudge from your crew now has I'm up and Pause nudges right on the notification. When a crewmate isn't up yet, send a nudge or a coffee from the note, and answer a good morning with Say it back.
• Backup reminders have Snooze, up to three times a morning. Hold one open to see your crew's sky, your alarm time and who's already up.
• On Apple Watch: I'm up and Snooze are right there while your alarm is going, with the snoozes you have left.
• Your crew's mornings reach your widgets and Watch on their own.
• Everything feels smoother and steadier.

See you in the morning. Ideas or problems: support@dawnmates.app.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-22

Something new for your mornings:

• More to give your crew: any sky, sound pack, face or accessory for a crewmate, or a month or a year of Plus for their whole crew. They never pay a thing.
• Morning sets: a few things that go well together, in one go. The first is First sunrise, with the Sea line sky, the Wafu sounds and a scarf. A set only shows up while it costs less than the parts you don't have yet.
• Everything feels smoother and steadier.

See you in the morning. Ideas or problems: support@dawnmates.app.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-17

A small touch-up for brighter mornings:

• Cloud faces are drawn as one clean shape, with a single soft outline instead of overlapping circles.

See you in the morning. Ideas or problems: support@dawnmates.app.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-15

A few fixes for brighter mornings:

• Things you buy show as yours straight away, and come back when you move to a new phone.
• If a purchase needs someone's approval first, Dawnmates now tells you clearly while it waits.
• A gift you paid for but didn't get to send can now go to a friend.
• Buy a scene and it switches on right where you are.

See you in the morning. Ideas or problems: support@dawnmates.app.
