## What is Day Journal?

It's 10pm. What actually happened today?
You were there for all of it.

Your day journal writes itself while you live it.
Calendar, reminders, and your own words — one column.

Import notes from Markdown vaults, or write new ones in-app — same pocket as the day.

Built entirely inside its own pocket.
Every day of development, written here.

Even the bugs live in this day journal.
One developer's Dev tab — no separate tracker, no ticket system.

Write it, say it, or sketch it.
Same stream. No forms, no fields. One day journal.

Nothing leaves your phone. Nothing ever will.
No account, no backend, no analytics. Paid once. Ask Wombat answers on-device on supported iPhones (iOS 26+); a cloud key is optional and yours.

A private day journal that stays on this device.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-06

Notes — import Markdown vaults or write new notes in-app. Same pocket as the day; optional tab in Settings.

New wombat scenes throughout, and a Day Journal widget with labelled actions. Daily nudge and morning insight stay off until you turn them on.

Add a reminder for when you arrive or leave a place, and pick which calendar or list it goes to. Extract action items now lets you review them before anything is added.

Still no account. Your journal never leaves your phone. Paid once.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-08

No release notes.
