Daybook used to tell you that your records never leave this phone. That stopped being true when AI receipt reading was added, and the app went on saying it anyway.

The wording now follows what you have actually switched on. With AI reading set up, Daybook says what does leave: the photograph of the receipt you press the button on, sent to the provider you chose under your own API key. Only on the press, only that receipt, and never on its own.

Everything else is unchanged. Your records, budgets, reminders and the receipts themselves are stored on your phone, there is no account, and there is no Daybook server for anything to be sent to.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-30

1. Multi-language receipt scanning.
2. More accurate receipt items and prices.
3. Optional AI scanning for difficult receipts.
4. Bill splits are now saved automatically.
5. Better tracking for partial repayments.
6. “To Pay” now shows upcoming 30-day totals.
