Daycare Assistant allows daycare providers and preschool teachers to enter a child's activities, potty details, behavior issues, meals, naps, and even "What to bring next time" right on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. Once you enter data, it never needs to be re-typed. Simply use your words again and again and email the reports to parents if you wish. However - one day it wouldn’t print a letter for a parent. After restarting my phone it wouldn’t print still. I went to reload the app- and it deleted all of the letters!! Many are time intensive or have an annoying format. This app is bare-bones, but extremely user friendly and easy. Everything is customizable, which is one of my favorite aspects. I can enter in exactly what I want and then reuse that same item over and over, with a simple touch. It makes the reports seem very personal, yet they are easy to complete. The only downfall is that the reports are merely typed emails, nothing decorative or cute. On the upside, I asked parents if they preferred the cutesy report I was previously using or this one. They all prefer this one because it is so fast and easy. They aren't taken to an external link and all the information is quick and easy to understand. For 3.99? Great deal!
