Dayception turns the dates that matter — birthdays, trips, launches, anniversaries, the big day — into beautiful countdowns you'll actually want to look at. Counted in sleeps, with a live timer ticking to the second as the day nears, on your iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Most countdown apps stop at "days until." Dayception keeps going.

Three fixes. No "bug fixes and improvements". We'd never do that to you.

Live countdown is now actually live in the app. Pick the Live style and your event card ticks away in proper DD:HH:MM:SS. Previously this only worked on the widget while the app itself carried on saying "14 sleeps to go" and hoped you wouldn't notice. You noticed.
The widget's little labels have found their digits. "hrs · min · sec" was standing noticeably off to one side of the numbers it was meant to be labelling, like the one person in a group photo who didn't get the memo. Everyone now lines up.
Lock Screen and Dynamic Island countdowns behave themselves. No more numbers squeezed into "31:53:…", and no more mysterious dashes where your seconds should be. Your countdown now reads the way a person would say it — "1 day, 7 hrs" — and keeps itself up to date everywhere.

As ever: no ads, no accounts, no nonsense. Just sleeps.

Every dot is a sleep. They fill in as the day gets closer, which is either soothing or unbearable depending on what you're counting down to.

Import from Calendar or Reminders in a couple of taps. Nothing leaves your device — your birthdays are nobody else's business.

Days, hours, minutes, seconds, ticking away on your Home Screen. For when "14 sleeps" simply isn't precise enough. We understand.

And a lot of work on larger text sizes.
It turns out "each dot is a week" is not a useful legend when it renders as "each dot i…".
