Daycut shows you what your friends actually listened to today. Once a day, at a random moment, everyone gets a cut: the 5 tracks from their real listening, assembled automatically. Nothing to post, nothing to curate. You send yours, you see theirs. Both ways or nothing — no lurking. Daycut is music digging through people, not algorithms: your friends' real rotation is the best crate there is. - Works across services: Spotify, Apple Music, Yandex Music. Friends stay where they are. - Play counts, first listens, and what your friends kept repeating. - Comment and react on a friend's day. - Gift a track: when they play it, their cut carries your name. - Ghost mode is free: skip a day, mute comments, block anyone. Daycut is a music diary you share with your circle: a daily snapshot of real listening for people who dig for music through friends. ## Is Daycut safe? You can still edit it, take it back, or turn this off in Settings. Invite friends with your own link. Whoever installs from it adds you in one tap. No friends yet? Your feed shows public cuts from today until they join. The friends widget shows your friends' cuts. We improved performance and fixed things you never noticed. "The best revenge is not to be like your enemy." Marcus Aurelius ### 1.0.9 — 2026-10-10 The Today's cut widget shows your cut again. For some people it said "No music yet" with a cut already shared. iPhone Duo: hold the phone half open on the Today tab. The track of the day stays on the upright half and the list scrolls on the other. Turn your iPhone on its side: the feed stays on the left and the cut you tap opens on the right. We also improved performance. We checked twice and counted the same number both times. "We suffer more often in imagination than in reality." Seneca ### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-07 Two new widgets for your home screen. Friends today shows how many of your friends shared a cut. Tap it to open the feed. Last 7 days shows your week in numbers: plays, artists and days with a cut. Tap it to open the full recap. Both come in small and medium sizes and fit the lock screen. We also improved performance. Nobody can prove otherwise. "The best revenge is not to be like your enemy." Marcus Aurelius ### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-06 Put today's cut on your home screen. Add the Daycut widget in small or medium size, or on the lock screen, and you see what you played today and whether the cut is ready to share. Tap Your last 7 days on Today for the week in numbers: plays, minutes, the tracks and artists you played most, and the tracks friends kept from your cuts. After a week with ten plays or more, you get a push about it on Sunday around noon. Tap it to open the last 7 days. Turn it off with The moment switch in Settings. We also made the app faster. You will have to take our word for it. "Some things are in our control and others not." Epictetus ### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-05 Your cut now has room for a line. Add or edit the caption right under it in the feed, or inside the cut. Edit cut and Take back moved behind the three dots at the top of your cut. If a music service drops our access, you get a push straight away, and tapping it opens the reconnect screen. The gap under the Daycut title is gone. We also improved performance, as everyone always does. "We suffer more often in imagination than in reality."
