I love this app more than any other like it. I have been using it for 8 years! The developer will address all issues frequently. 
Having said that, there is a new thing that is a problem. When you convert to PDF, it shows up in my books very light. You almost can’t see the text. Please fix this. I save my log every so often to keep it somewhere else and for printing. Thank you so much!

The biggest feature of this diary is that you can also log your past diaries the next day. You can also log what happened a few days ago. So it's great. It's great to be able to log your past diaries that you forgot about. Also, the second feature is that it all syncs up on your iPhone iPad Mac. It's working well with updates these days. And finally, it's very simple. So it's great.

Everything about this app is perfect for me. Writing one line a day is a really great idea for someone getting into journaling, I wish I learned about this app sooner. it's minimal, simple and organized & I love that even using free there were no ads or a subscription being shoved in my face. Premium is affordable, one-time purchase and comes with all sorts of extra features. plssss give this app a try if you want to journal <3

I dig it. Fairly basic but not too basic. Simple to get up and running, no ridiculous learning curve. May not be as feature rich as others, but it’s got most of the essentials for me. Reading through the reviews on here, and I must say, been using this little app for roughly a decade now and never experienced any issues. So idk what to make of that. Nevertheless, great app!

I have been using this app regularly for several years. I love most things about it.

This app has a clean elegant interface, and I love the ability to note the time of the entry by touching the inconspicuous clock that appears on the active page.

 I use the app to make notes through the day of activities including shopping and expenses.  Journaling deep thoughts could be a quite lovely use, but for now I prefer quick notes including gym and workouts etc. I also use it as a gratitude journal. 

The search feature is quirky.  To access search you must put daygram into monthly view and scroll up from bottom.  

I think a guide to using it would be helpful for newbies.  

I like the ability to password the journal although I haven't actually used.

The app seems to have new management.  Good luck.  I still like the app very much.

I absolutely love Daygram! It’s one of the most peaceful and beautiful diary apps out there — I write in it every day. The e-ink design is just perfect.

I do wish there were a few more features, like exporting entries as images and having more font options. But overall, it’s an amazing app that I’ll keep using for a long time. ❤️

When I first got the app on New Year’s Day, I started logging regular. Then like any resolution, I dropped off the “hope.” However, there were dots, where you could log missed days. Since February started.. I can no longer do so. 
REALLY tempted to delete the app now, as it doesn’t serve the purpose I hoped for. Sooo frustrating:(

This used to be a great app. Now, when I hit done (after a journal entry) it just shuts down. It doesn’t save the entry I just made. So it is pretty useless. I’ve had it for years, and frequently ignore it for long periods, but I haven’t done anything different to it. I does not need an update. It just stopped working. I have contacted the developer. Let’s see if they do anything about it. Hopefully.

So, I like using the app. But now I’ve had it for four years and want to export a backup of my data and it’s saying I can’t do that without setting up an email. Okay. So how do I do that?? I’ve poked every setting in the app itself, opened my phone settings for it, googled for help, and no luck.

Did I seriously just journal the last four years of my life into a garbage can I’ll have to manually copy out by hand in order to export???

Everything is gone, including a full pandemic diary. I used this app for two years, got a new phone, and then POOF. Have tried to sync in every possible way, and even emailed devs a while ago for help. Nothing. Incredibly disappointing.

Updating this review just to send a thank you to the developer. 

Most programs over time get cluttered: what once was a besutiful, simple app starts shouting for attention instead of just being there. Daygram hasn’t done that. 

It’s useful as needed without demanding centre place. The developer attends to it with small improvements but keeping the original interface so there’s not a whole new layout to learn. (I particularly appreciated when I noticed 24-hr clock option had been added.)

The best thing about this app (for me) is that it does its job and doesn’t change — at least not noticeably. That makes it a reliable addition to my iPhone architecture that I fon’t have to worry about. It works. It lasts. Thank you Developer!

I always feel like journaling never worked for me but  knowing that putting a sentence or two is enough for DayGram…it starts a habit that I’ve tried numerous times and failed. Give it a try.  

Also a nice way to get an idea out of your head and into your phone as quickly as possible. Having short-term memory problems, that very important for me.

I’m really happy to see DayGram being maintained again. It’s my favorite diary app, and I often recommend it to friends.

I have one small request: could you add a time format option in Settings, so users can choose between 24-hour time and AM/PM?

Using AM/PM slows me down because I have to mentally convert it each time, so I often end up rewriting it in 24-hour format manually.  — for example, 00:59 instead of 12:59 AM. I’ve been doing that several times a day for years. A simple toggle would make a big difference.
