Restore the clean sharp lines to the dawn and dusk lines for us senior citizens. I cannot add a new location, and the appstore link to support goes to a 404 error. (There is no in-app support link.) The information that is supplied dawn and dusk times is excellent. Would be grateful if that could be corrected. ### 1/5 — Sonnenaufgang bzw. unterg. *2025-01-01* Seit heute 25.4.2024 ist das eingeben anderer Orte unmöglich geworden. Wenn ich versuche den Ort Manuell einzugeben geht es nicht. War sonst immer möglich jetzt nicht mehr. Deswegen drei Sterne Abzug. Wird aber wieder geändert wenn wieder möglich. Ich habe alle Apps von den Hersteller alle anderen funktionieren perfekt nur diese nicht. Nach deinstallieren und installieren auch nicht. Bitte Reparieren Bitte. Falls die App wieder funktioniert, wird das sofort korrigiert. Und Übrigens ich werde diese App jeden Tag ausprobieren ob sie wieder geht. Bewertung wird auch dann wieder geändert. I have purchased the bundle for the old functions for the most part if not entirely. I am very disappointed that I lost my purchase in the process of you updating the App. **Developer response:** I’m sorry the redesign gave you the impression that your purchase and the original features were lost. They were not. As an owner of the previous version, you automatically receive “Veteran” status. This includes all features from the original app, plus the new design, widgets, reminders, Apple Watch app and complications, AR, Solar Compass, and Solar Map—all at no additional cost. Simply switch the app mode to ‘Astro Classic’ in the settings and you’ll see the same data as before. The app offered you this option when you first launched it after the update. Only the new weather-based forecast of the actual end of usable daylight requires a subscription. If the app is not recognizing your Veteran status, please contact me so I can help resolve it. ### 1/5 — Was my favorite app. *2026-08-05* This was my favorite application for tracking the DayLight times for years! This application went subscription only and there was no option to restore or grandfather in purchases for original users. Now I have to find another application. **Developer response:** I’m delighted that you’ve been a happy user for so many years. I truly value everyone who purchased the original app, which is why all existing users automatically receive “Veteran” status. This gives you all the features of the original app at no additional cost, plus the modern design, widgets, reminders, Apple Watch app and complications, AR, Solar Compass, and Solar Map—all included in the price you originally paid. The only feature not included in Veteran mode is the new weather-based forecast of the actual end of usable daylight. You therefore do not need a subscription to continue using all the original features and many new ones. Can’t remember if I purchased it before but after updating it now wants me to subscribe yearly. Now most features require a paid upgrade. I enjoyed seeing the various times in an easy to read table and illustration. Erst als die alte App mit einigen Funktionen nicht mehr richtig funktionierte wurde mir klar, dass ich mich nach einer Alternative umsehen musste - mit dem Ergebnis: aus meiner Sicht gibt es nichts Vergleichbares. Die Vorstellung dieser völlig überarbeiteten Version war daher eine tolle Überraschung. Und ja, sie ist gelungen! Die Klarheit und Übersichtlichkeit ist noch einmal verbessert worden, bei der Funktionsfähigkeit gibt es bis jetzt auch absolut nichts zu meckern. Es bleibt, diese App ist für die Zielgruppen Fotografie, Wandernde, Naturwissenschaften uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. My apologies to the developer - I slammed the app in my previous review and I got it mostly wrong. This one adds some extra touches: a "24" on the dial & differentiated shadings for civil, nautical & astronomical twilight. The data table with detailed times can be very helpful for planning purposes & the icons & fonts are to me very aesthetically pleasing. I have 2 suggestions: 1. What about adding a option to hide the data table? Sometimes I want to know the exact times, but sometimes I just want the sense of calm that only a 1-hand clock can provide. 2. What about adding a widget, perhaps as an in-app purchase?
