## What is DayLog?

"Where did my day go?"
If you've ever wondered that, DayLog is for you—a simple time-logging app that records how you spend your day with a single tap.

Sleep, work, meals, exercise, hobbies—just tap what you're doing now. The previous entry ends automatically and the next begins. No tedious input, no separate start/stop buttons.

As your records build up, your day, week, and month come vividly into view. Timeline, donut chart, activity calendar—see your time in numbers and in color.

And the more you use it, the more DayLog learns your habits. "Saturday morning—your usual grocery run?" It predicts what's next, so logging gets easier every day.

And on the 1st of every month, your "16 Types" result arrives—morning or night, deep focus or quick switching. No questionnaire: your type is diagnosed from how you actually spent your time, delivered as a shareable card with its own character.

Every Monday, a weekly report looks back on your week with numbers and gentle insights.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.6 — 2026-09-17

- Pick times with a wheel, like the Clock app
- A single reminder the night after you start, if nothing is logged yet
- The first-day recap now shows your count and longest category
- Insights shows a preview before you have data

### 1.3.5 — 2026-09-14

IMPROVED: A new first-run guide
No more intro pages. The very first screen walks you through the app with real taps:
how to start a log, switch, fix it later, and read your Insights — in six short steps.

IMPROVED: Notification prompt
The prompt now appears after you've logged a few times, and explains up front that
DayLog only nudges you when a session runs long or a day has nothing logged.

### 1.3.4 — 2026-09-08

- Up to two rest days a week no longer break your streak
- The widget now shows today's status ("Today 3 · 12-day streak")
- One evening reminder on a day with nothing logged (if notifications are on)
- "Started N minutes ago" is now 5, 15, 30 min + Custom
- Fixed the elapsed timer occasionally skipping ahead

### 1.3.3 — 2026-09-05

NEW: Goals for each category
Set a target like "at least 1h of exercise every day" or "at most 8h of work".
Your progress shows up on the Home and Insights screens, and a notification lets you know when you reach it.

■ What you can do
・Set an "at least" or "at most" target per category
・Choose a daily or weekly period
・Look back on your week, shaded by how close you got

The free plan allows three goals; Pro lets you set as many as you like.

Plus a fix for a first-launch issue.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-09-01

NEW: Today's Picture
See your whole day on one screen—a timeline plus a category breakdown.
Open it anytime from "Summary" on the home screen.

On your first day of logging, an evening notification brings you your day as a picture.

IMPROVED: A redesigned log screen
Review your day on a calendar-style vertical timeline—editing entries and filling free time is
easier than ever.
