I can’t even edit my old items or see what dates I put in originally. Not unless I start paying 😔 ### 1/5 — Completely terrible app with no usable features *2026-05-08, version 2.0.0* While the app is listed as “free”, there are exactly ZERO features available in the free version. You cannot create events, edit events, set up reminders or widgets, edit or delete categories, edit any appearance settings. They do allow you to create one event as a tutorial, but you cannot edit it in anyway. You can only track it as today or yesterday. I was in fact able to delete this event, but now I can’t create any new events, meaning it is a literal empty, unusable app. Locking every single feature behind a pro subscription was a terrible decision. This is a terrible app with no usability whatsoever. ### 1/5 — Would’ve paid initially but not if this is how it’s going to be *2026-05-08, version 2.0.0* I understand the developer needs to make money, but gating features that used to be free (widgets, for me) behind a paywall on a platform where there’s no way to downgrade is not the way to do it. ### 1/5 — Very disappointed about Pro *2026-05-08, version 2.0.0* All my existing entries now locked and I can’t change without paying. Today I opened the app to log a few things and BAM - nearly every feature that made this app so helpful are now behind a paywall. Seriously?? Vicki, this isn’t how you retain users. If you want to start charging, and I totally understand if you do, then you offer extra features for the price, you don’t take back the features that have always been free. At the very least some warning would have been nice. Bait and switch. If you’re going to offer a pro version, actually offer something. It just seems lazy to just add a paywall for no new features. Really disappointing. This is easily one of the worst implementations I’ve seen. Core features are suddenly locked behind a paywall, which defeats the purpose of using the app in the first place. It shows a clear lack of understanding of what users actually value: access to essential features, fair pricing, and a usable experience without forcing existing users into a subscription. Happy I have found a better alternative with the same features I need as a one-time purchase that costs about the same as one week of this app’s subscription. I’m deleting this app immediately. ### 1/5 — Wildly disappointing *2026-04-26, version 2.0.0* The creator of this app promoted it in Reddit adhd spaces as a simple, free tracking app. Tons of us got hooked on its utility in our lives - I’ve personally relied on it for almost a year, and consult it several times every day to help keep track of tasks and chores. Now the latest update made it unusable without a paid subscription. It’s predatory and manipulative to trick a bunch of people on the basis of our *disability* into being guinea pigs for your app, and then hide move literally every feature behind a paywall. Asking people to pay for an offline use simple app might have been understandable, but a subscription? It is now just another garage app that is simply not worth the squeeze. Shame on the dev. I encourage all former users to REPORT the app to Apple for false advertising and shady monetization tactics. ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD *2026-04-24, version 2.0.0* I had so many important dates in this app, then one day it switched to a paid app. Now I can’t even access my important dates to transfer elsewhere without paying. No notice. No grandfathering. No grace period. I love this app for its simplicity, but I’ll be finding something else. It’s not worth the $20 annual fee, and definitely not the $150/year you’ll pay on the weekly subscription model. Now the app is useless! You can’t even open the old dates to see the info! Disappointing ### 2/5 — I feel betrayed *2026-04-23, version 2.0.0* You know, ever since I laid my eyes on Days Since, I’ve felt this connection like no other. No long sign in, no subscription, no PRO pay wall keeping me away from my beloved. But recently something in our relationship changed: the one thing that made you special turned you into a sheep moving with the herd. You added a pay wall, now you see I have been using this app to countdown how long it’s been since I’ve started consistent workouts. Though many others use this app to see how long they’ve gone being sober or quitting an addiction. And to this new feature I have to say that if I were a recovering alcoholic, I would be drinking to this abomination of an update (downgrade).
