Daysmart doesn’t have a live call center and literally have not responded back to our inquiry through chat. It would be nice to get notified of a schedule change when it occurs, maybe even accepting the change or not. I would like to see a calendar that allows for putting in vacation requests or training notifications. For hourly people where pay rates may differ depending upon assigned tasks, the pay rate could be available for a tally. Even it could announce holiday closures or pay. This is the most basic of tools for my, and many others, scheduling needs. I can all of what I need as an individual cheaper, easier and quicker on the most basic of google and MS calendars. I cannot stand there and spend 10+ minutes to schedule a single appointment for an EXISTING patient profile. Subpar aesthetics and intuitive feel. I spend most of my time time trying to find a better equally-ish affordable software. Still looking. It does the job, like I said, most of the time. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Each iteration is worse! *2025-03-28* Bill Maher coined the term “reverse improvements”, and that’s what’s been happening. The latest reverse improvement consists of being unable to search my database alphabetically: the option if offered but does not respond to clicking on it. This is in addition to no longer being able view appointment history for a given client. I started when it was called appointment plus. I am not happy with the current app. When I want to look at a different month, it can take three minutes for the app to give me the next month. I can have my computer turned off - then open the computer and open my browser and go to DaySmart to schedule an appointment for a client before the phone app will give me the next month to look for an appointment. ### 1/5 — Latency *2024-09-29* The latency in this program is unreal and disruptive. Because of the latency issues it’s hard to book appointments and sometimes they don’t get on the schedule which causes missed appointments and unhappy customers. If they could fix the issue we would stay with the program. Unfortunately we are transitioning into a new program. Also hard to get a hold of customer service as you can no longer call and haven’t to sign into a computer. I’m a mobile service and often don’t have my laptop in front of me. ### 1/5 — Has become crap *2024-01-17, version 2.5.3* This app has turned into crap. First off let me say that their customer service is second to none. They’ve broken the appointment/scheduler system down to the finest detail.
