I regularly tune in to the DAYSTAR app! A believer from a young age by the Grace of God's intervention, I did not have a family that vocalized a personal joy in walking with God daily or attempted to actively teach His Word in the home. How many of us follow in this same pattern, expecting periodic Church attendance to carry the load in supporting spiritual growth in our lives and in our children's lives? Hardships in life have a way of steering one back to a dependence on God. In one of these times, I decided to focus on Christian programming, and I discovered Daystar. How spiritually refreshing to watch and listen to a diverse people on this network whose hearts and tongues were on fire with passion for Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings! I realized what I had been missing: being fed a regular diet of spiritual nourishment from other Christians grounded in God's Word. Eating the right food once or twice a week is not enough to keep oneself healthy. It is important to believers, and for nonbelievers, to learn from DAYSTAR's bold witness and testimony to the power of our God, His Word and His Holy Spirit. Watch! A cornerstone of belief in Christianity, underscoring our repentance and the acceptance of God's redeeming Grace offered through His Son, Jesus, is our basic freedom to choose to accept or to reject His offerings to us. DAYSTAR is such an offering. The on-demand and free programming through their app is there for you 24/7! I am so thankful for this network. It showcases a real family with faith in God's heart and His teachings. DAYSTAR lets us get to know the Lamb family and many other "regular" people - through their stories of personal hurts, their trials, and the spiritual strengths they received from God as they sought His care and protections. He did not leave them or forsake them, even during times of deep disappointment when they felt they could not see His hand in their circumstances. It is during these times we learn to trust His heart! Watch DAYSTAR. And talk to God and open and read your Bible; it does not need to be read in a "chronologically correct" sequence to receive God's discernments and blessings - just read! And start your prayers with praise and thankfulness to our Almighty God and His care for us! Their are just so many ways that this app can be improved. If the app designer is actually reading this .
