### 4/5 — Doing What I Need, & I Sense 2024 Will Bring Updates

*2024-01-08, version 2.10*

This app has been spectacular for a very specific collection of data I’m trying to record. But, it can also we used widely. It’s excellent for time-stamping, logging progress, and it charts things pretty well for the “analytically inclined”. (If you’re OCD this app is excellent for you, with a couple minor glitches.)

What’s awesome is that I’ve been able to get in contact with the developer, who has actually taken some of my suggestions and bettered the app! 😁 What more can you ask for?!

My 4-star review could easily be a 5. I’m just trying to motivate him for the new year. 😉

### 4/5 — Very handy for most things one might care to measure!

*2023-07-06*

I use this app pretty religiously, and it’s excellent for almost everything I do. I removed one star ⭐️ (and would’ve rated 4.5 stars if possible) simply because—often as I use it—I’ve found some bugs that just may drive someone like myself who’s meticulously tracking everything a little batty. 😅 With that said, I’ve made prior contact with the developer and he was super responsive 👍🏼—emailed me back directly and worked on some of them. Would/Will happily upgrade to 5 ⭐️ if he’s still so receptive to users’ constructive feedback and willing to fix minor glitches, or even add features!

### 2/5 — Good idea. Crashes/freezes often. Confusing to use

*2016-04-20, version 1.0.3*

Please fix. I want to use this app and don't know if a better alternative. But this isn't usable as is.

### 2/5 — Good idea, needs work

*2014-01-18, version 1.0.3*

I like the web page the best. This app is pretty bad, but it's a great idea. Whenever I save an entry it displays 3-4 error messages that say 'unable to save', but it still saves the data. This is a huge problem because I run into this every day.

Another bug is when I try to change the date on an entry I'm adding, the app simply quits. Whoops.

Hope there's a new version soon, looks like the program has good potential.

### 2/5 — Potentially useful but too flaky

*2013-12-18, version 1.0.3*

This crashes every time I try to add an entry with a date in the past

### 1/5 — Fix it, or forget it

*2013-12-18, version 1.0.3*

Update: crashes on launch in iOS7. Not uninstalling, but definitely removing from my dock. — the web app works okay!

Hello, Feltron. I was a big fan of yours and Daytum was a very exciting and stable application until... some time after it's been updated. I'm not sure when. This is now the buggiest app on my iDevices, and unfortunately one of the ones that i want to use the most.

I want to love Daytum, but I'm afraid i have to give it a bad rating until the loads of errors, crashes, syncing bombs, data loss, duplicates, and just wrong behavior stops.

I don't want to go looking for another app. I want to stay faithful to Daytum because i have had the account for so long. I just got an iphone and it is making all my data horrible. please take a weekend to fix it up. please please please.

your pal,
wray

### 1/5 — Crashy

*2013-12-13, version 1.0.3*

I want to use this service but this app is buggy to the point of it being unusable - I can't enter any data before it crashes.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2013-11-18, version 1.0.3*

Not the easiest to use (usability wise), crashes often, and doesn't look nearly as nice as the website does. I expected a lot more.

### 2/5 — Great app but...

*2013-11-17, version 1.0.3*

Crashes all the time. Im keeping this on my phone only in hopes of it actually working after an update

### 4/5 — Crash

*2013-10-21, version 1.0.3*

The app is very very good, I love it. Although, when trying to edit a specific time for an entry, the app crashes. Every single time. Please fix this!

### 1/5 — Crashes big time

*2013-10-08, version 1.0.3*

The app has become unstable and unusable. It unreliably saves entries and crashes when adding categories.

### 4/5 — いつも使ってます

*2013-09-14, version 1.0.3*

### 1/5 — Unreal Failure

*2013-08-21*

I'm floored at how terrible this app is. It's beyond glitchy to the point of being barely functional. Which is puzzling because of its incredibly simple task: add an item into your Daytum account.

It's obvious that those behind Daytum could care less about this app. Which is unfortunate because Daytum is a fairly useful and interesting service, and the times when you want to enter quantities of data the most (when you're out and about), the task can barely be accomplished.

If this app wasn't pure garbage, I'd probably consider paying for Daytum's premium service option.

### 3/5 — Please Update

*2013-08-13, version 1.0.3*

The design and intellect behind this is really cool but please at least update it so that it can fit the iPhone 5. I'll even pay for an update if it does better things at least.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2013-08-07, version 1.0.3*

On first entry

### 2/5 — !!!!!PLEASE FIX!!!!!

*2013-08-06, version 1.0.3*

Nickolas Felton! I love the app, and I love keeping track of everyday things. I want to continue but I can't change the time an event occurs without it crashing, edit the amount without it crashing, and not optimized for iPhone 5!!! I know you are a busy man, but please have your people help a data but out! Thanks for all the beautiful work,

M

### 1/5 — Still a disappointment

*2013-07-30, version 1.0.3*

I was hoping with the new version that a lot of the problems that plagued previous releases has been fixed. Alas nothing has been addressed and the program still crashes constantly when trying to enter data.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No instructions

*2023-06-20, version 2.9*

I’ve had this app on my phone for like two weeks and still don’t know how to use it because the developers I guess just assumed everyone would already know? I’ll change the review to five once that’s added

### 1/5 — Requires payment to use privacy options

*2023-04-19, version 2.9*

How is this legal? Also collects user content identified to you which is the biggest red flag for a non social app, you can find all this and more in their privacy policy link

### 1/5 — Great idea but buggy

*2016-11-21, version 1.0.3*

Completely unusable on ios10. Crashes constantly, and if you do manage to get some data into it it's going to be lost. Don't waste your time until they update and fix this horrible app

### 1/5 — Doesn't Even Work

*2016-05-13, version 1.0.3*

This app has one job: track numbers in categories. It fails. When I try to enter information, it crashes. I thought I'd found something to easily track my reading pages per day, but I can't enter anything in the App. Don't waste your time until they complete a major overhaul.

### 1/5 — Awesome concept, disastrous app

*2015-08-04, version 1.0.3*

The concept is awesome, but the app is a disaster.
Looks like it's not been maintained since 2011.

### 1/5 — Please update

*2015-04-02, version 1.0.3*

If any of the developers are reading this review, please update to iOS 8+.

### 1/5 — It doesnt work in iphone5s

*2015-02-17, version 1.0.3*

It doesnt work at all! Horrible!

### 1/5 — Pretty much useless

*2014-10-16, version 1.0.3*

Crashes every time I add or edit an entry where the time is something other than right now. Bummer.

Daytum has somehow corrupted my data and my records (not related to the app per se). The creators we're unresponsive when I tried to contact them, so I'm done with the service altogether. What a mess.

### 1/5 — Terrible app and waste of time

*2014-06-18, version 1.0.3*

Clunky UI, crashes if you want to edit data. Go elsewhere and don't waste your time.

### 1/5 — Too bad they stopped updating the app

*2014-04-16, version 1.0.3*

... Used to work so well!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for exercise tracking

*2021-10-08, version 2.1*

Really like this app! Very good for tracking exercise and keeping results organized. I also use it for keeping track of my coffee intake lol

### 5/5 — Daytum is back!

*2021-10-06, version 2.1*

New version of the app is an excellent way to track whatever you want. Enjoying the new attributes feature too. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2021-10-02, version 2*

I am so happy this app has been brought back to life. Responsive, more modern, and a lower priced subscription. I used Daytum first in 2011, then remembered it existed and how much I loved it during Summer 2020. I used it to track some work from home data and was so sad it was still stuck in time. I’ve subscribed and look forward to using it for years to come.

### 5/5 — Beautiful

*2012-04-08, version 1.0.3*

A very beautiful, yet functional app.

### 5/5 — Useful to monitor your habit and helpful to form a new habit

*2012-01-01, version 1.0.3*

This App is almost exactly what I was looking for, to make a kick start of new year by beginning with some good habit.

Although it is for iPhone only, it still looks ok when run on iPad after the '2x'.

Will there be new features allowing user to add some comments or pics for each entry?

### 5/5 — Unable to save

*2011-09-13, version 1.0.3*

UPDATE: Issue resolved (probably server-side update). Works perfectly now. Thanks!

Previous rating: 2 stars

Getting the "Unable to Save" error message 3 to 5 times after every entry or modification.
Worked great up until a week ago.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2011-08-30, version 1.0.3*

Haven't had any bugs

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2011-06-19, version 1.0.3*

The website really brings out the potential! For those who love statistic, infographics.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2011-02-03, version 1.0.2*

Integrates well with my online account, and helps me keep track of things on the go.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2011-01-06, version 1.0.2*

Fantastically simple app that solves a very complex problem. I wanted something like this so bad I thought about making it myself, but Daytum has done far better than I could have imagined. Awesome!
